111 total miles paddles this month. 70 miles on a SUPSKATE and 41 on a paddle board. Last year for the Adventure Sports Virtual Challenge I did 80 something miles on a Paddleboard only. This year they were approached to add a new category SUPSKATE by Don Sandusky and William Ennis. I don’t always have the time or at times the weather is not cooperating to go to the lake, so being able to go out and paddle my long board was awesome. This year Rebecca Guillen decided to join the fun as well. She didn’t have many opportunities to get out besides the weekends. She set a goal for herself of 25 miles, so we went out today. I couldn’t do it, it was so cold. 4th winter hit and I was set for cold spring paddling. She did it though, she thought she needed 1.5 miles to get her personal goal. She was happy so we loaded up. Then she recalculated and realized she was .25miles off. She got suited back up, while it’s cold, rainy and windy and added another .5 mile. Here’s one photo that Bill took, because I didn’t take any pictures this year.
