Ever wondered what a conductor does during a performance? The conductor is the orchestra's leader, guiding musicians through the score and ensuring that every instrument comes together in perfect harmony. Maestro Fouad Fakhouri not only sets the tempo but also interprets the music, bringing out the emotional depth and nuances of each piece. His passion and expertise are a part of what makes our performances truly unforgettable.

Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1 marked a significant moment in classical music history. Composed between 1799 and 1800, it bridges the Classical and Romantic eras, introducing bold innovations that would redefine the symphonic form. The Symphony opens with a surprising chord that puzzled listeners at the time—a hint of the innovation that Beethoven would bring to the symphonic form. Join us this season to experience the brilliance of Beethoven’s early work.

Thank you all for an incredible evening, and a wonderful season. We have so much appreciation for the massive support we had last night for Star Trek: Live In Concert, and we can't convey in words how much your support means to us.
Last night's concert was groundbreaking for us and our city in a lot of ways, but this wasn't something we did alone. Without our sponsors, our supporters, donors, volunteers, and our fans, none of this would have been possible. Thank you making the impossible possible last night.

We are proud to be your symphony orchestra.

Star Trek: The Future Begins - LIVE was made possible with support from Dow Credit Union , The Jury Foundation, Huntington National Bank, Patricia G. Rennert Trust, Garber Automotive Group, Garpiel Group, Ascension St. Mary's Hospital, Fischer Family Funeral Services, along with Michigan Arts and Culture Council and National Endowment for the Arts
