Ever wondered what a conductor does during a performance? The conductor is the orchestra's leader, guiding musicians through the score and ensuring that every instrument comes together in perfect harmony. Maestro Fouad Fakhouri not only sets the tempo but also interprets the music, bringing out the emotional depth and nuances of each piece. His passion and expertise are a part of what makes our performances truly unforgettable.
Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1 marked a significant moment in classical music history. Composed between 1799 and 1800, it bridges the Classical and Romantic eras, introducing bold innovations that would redefine the symphonic form. The Symphony opens with a surprising chord that puzzled listeners at the time—a hint of the innovation that Beethoven would bring to the symphonic form. Join us this season to experience the brilliance of Beethoven’s early work.
Playing an instrument does more than just make music—it strengthens your brain! 🧠 Research shows that young musicians develop enhanced cognitive abilities, including better memory and problem-solving skills.
