This is something we all need to ask ourselves, especially those living off the road or in the woods. Please review your address numbers AND if a large fire truck can get to your house. If you're not sure if a fire truck can get to your house, feel free to call us for some guidance.

As we are raking leaves and prepping for winter, have you considered if a Fire Truck will fit down your driveway?
Can we see your address from the street?

Help firefighters reach you!

Remember to CHECK your DETECTORS and CHANGE your Clocks. Fall back one hour.

James Township Firefighters

This past Sunday, the James Township and Thomas Township Fire Departments resurrected an old tradition dating back to 1969. In 1969 we had played baseball against each other. This tradition went strong for several years but after years of not playing, we were able to get back on the field. It was great to work with each other in a friendly atmosphere. We typically work with each other during emergency scenes. This friendly game was very much like it used to be, back in the day. Being of good sport, James Township did take away the trophy and next year's plans are already in motion. Missing from the above picture was Brandon Rossi and Ryan DeLong who were preparing lunch for us. Also Drake Parent and Ed Blue who served as our umpires. It was a great event to bring back and fun for all. Emergency calls were still covered during this event by our responders.
