ullying that I received as a child growing up. From the age of 9 years old, I would wear scarves to cover my head, and the goal for the neighborhood kids was to snatch it off to make fun of me. I ran many time to avoid the embarassment, faught them off and cried alot. I missed school from 4th grade to 7th grade, teaching myself how to read and do math myself from the books and children albums my mom would order in the mail, This was my life because of the mean kids making fun of me. Then my mom decided to buy me a wig, and the wig that she bought me looked like the wigs that the Mother's were wearing on the Mother's Board at our church. So from that day on I decided that I needed to make the wig look more unnoticeable and embarrassing. So I started buying my own wigs from the wig shops and I would customize them to look like my hair as a black little girl should look like. So throughout the years, I taught myself how to french braid, how to cut and style wigs to look more natural. There was only one thing that halted me from being a happy little girl. The neighborhood knew that my hair had fallen out and knew that I had on a wig. With all that said, I had girls always wanting to fight me just so they could pull my wig off and embarrass me. Yes, I grew up with bully's, transfering out of many middle schools going to another only to find out that someone there knew and there I go again fighting so they can pull my wig off. But that never stopped me, because all that I went through as a child has made me the woman I am today and for 45 years to this day I have worn a wig, I gradauted from highschool with my class of 1983, I was Senior Class President and determind to have a future and a normal life. Graduated with an degree in Bible and am A Woman of God and Licensed Evangelist. I have taken all the pain and heart aches and allowed God to use me to love on people no matter if they liked me or not. My passion is to bless others, encouraging them through the Word of God. Alowwing God to use me to express His love through the way I walk, allowing His light to shine through me. Knowing that out of all my trials there is a blessing and something to be birthed. God has taught me how to remake wigs and restyled them, I have made my own wigs from scratch. I have done it all when it comes to enhancing my hairstyle. Which for me, I only had a bald head to wear. Being that I love hair and the beauty of it from God, I loved wearing wigs. Now today, I don't pray for God to give me hair, I pray that no little girl will have to go through what I went through as a child. If God offered me a full head of hair today, I would ask Him to please give it to any little girl out there that is going through hair lost and she don't know what to do and why it is happening. I don't ever want to see any little girl got through the pain that I went through as a child. That has given me the passion to share what I know about wigs, what I know about looking natural and not worrying about what the back of your head looks like. The saying is, my hair is my glory, but God is who I glorify so now all I want to do is help those that don't know and would love to enhance their hairstyle with a wig that looks AUTHENTIC AND NATURAL.
