I am absolutely smitten with how this heart shaped vanity chair turned out! She was looking pretty sad with her deflated blue s**g cushion and rusty finish. By transforming this antique ice cream parlor chair with a metallic gold paint and a plush emerald green velvet cushion, it has become an adorable addition to any vanity. The combination of green and gold are two of my all-time favorite colors and I think they came together beautifully.

Look at that shine! This MCM Curtis Mathes console is coming along nicely. On the inside she has a new Bluetooth amplifier and new speaker wires. It was so exciting to get the sound to work. I am still working on getting the record player up and running but it seems like it may only need a new cartridge and needle, so off to the parts store next week. She's been stained, polished and spruced up! Tomorrow I'll do an all over buff and reinstall the legs. I am so pleased with this piece I may just keep it for myself ❤️

I am very excited about this vintage record player cabinet I picked up in Tyler over the weekend. It needs a little love but I think it's going to be a real beauty when it's finished and working.

This table was a big huge learning experience! I found this gal on the side of the road and as I worked on her I often thought, there's a reason it was in the trash but it was too dang heavy for me to deal with taking it back to the curb lol. The top is laminate mdf, the pedestal is metal and the base is wood. I had to take off like a million layers of peeling paint on the pedestal. The laminate top had weird black marks I couldn't get off so I used Retique It and did a faux wood grain. Painted the bottom with chalk paint. She's far from perfect but much improved!

Here is a before and after of my most favorite recent flip.

I got this little side table for free. It definitely needed some love. It was missing the top door, missing the hardware, and it looked like someone had kept it in a damp environment because the laminate was starting to warp in places. Despite the flaws, I knew that it still had potential.

The first thing I did was take it all apart and give it a good cleaning. Then I lightly sanded it to smooth out the water damage and to give the paint something to stick to better. I topped it with a couple coats of kilz and then this really pretty nautical blue paint. Finally, I sealed it all with polyurethane. I added new gold hardware and legs and a beautiful geometric wallpaper backing to tie it all together and to give it a nice modern look.
