If you use tanning beds, wrap your hair in a scarf or beanie. So your hair is completely concealed and will not get damaged by the UV rays.

Fun tip of the day is to watch for the everyday elements we do without even thinking about. Does your hair feel dry or brittle? A simple step is to start with changing your shampoo and conditioner. It sounds silly and although the cheap products are nice on your wallet, they could possibly be drying your hair out even more. Lots of factors play in with this, usually cheap brands are high in sulfates and take your hairs ph above normal levels (so does color and anything associated with bleach), you will also notice grocery store brands wash your hair color out faster. Cheap shampoos are cheap for a reason. It is like buying good oil and gas for your vehicle, the better and longer you want that vehicle to run, the better the products you will want to put into your tank. The same goes with hair. A good way of finding inexpensive "expensive" products that will moisturize and rejuvenate your hair would be to ask your stylist what they recommend (and why) and what they have available. Alot of times there is some sort of deal they can let you in on or you can do a little research and find when you buy product together in a duo set there is usually a better deal. If you get chemical services done it is very important to counteract the 'chemical damage' you are also doing on your hair if you want to maintain that "virgin" hair feel, same goes with any heat you apply to your hair. It is a good idea to wash your hair every other day or on every third day, this will also help.

Especially for those doing chemical(color, bleach, etc)/mechanical (blow dryers, curling irons, heat, etc) damage regularly, it is extremely important for you to undergo the correct steps to keep your hair feeling smooth and your color staying shiny and vibrant.
