We’re Elsass, a hidden gem nestled in Virginia wine country, where every piece tells a story from the French countryside. Our name is the phonetic pronunciation of Alsace, the region in eastern France where our founder, Pam, sources antique and vintage treasures with deep history and soul.

From original artwork to timeless furniture and decor, each item in our shop is thoughtfully hand-picked and beautifully styled — with the help of our friend and designer Kathryn of

If you have visited the shop, you will know that we have incredible candles sprinkled everywhere.

Jess’s beautiful hand-crafted candles are one of our top sellers for good reason. She developed a love for beautiful pieces and rare treasures from a young age, frequenting antique stores, vintage shops and flea markets with her parents.

Jess is local to us here in VA, but her gorgeous vintage vessels are conscientiously sourced from countries around the globe.

On top of her pieces being unique and beautiful, her candles are ethically made and hand-poured in small batches in the most AH-mazing scents. They are completely free of all carcinogens, paraffins, phthalates, and toxins.

Her natural, biodegradable wax is made from a blend of coconut and apricot wax, also making them vegan and soy free.

Once your candle has burned down you can use the vessel as a decor piece, or bring it back into the shop, as Jess offers refills in the scent of your choice for just the cost of materials. 🕯️
