Established in 1955 Established in 1955. In 1955 Dino DelVechio had enough of his basement flooding every time there was a rainstorm. Only it didn't work.

To insure this never happened again, he had a flood control system installed. When he asked the contractor why, he received little more than a shrug of the shoulders. Dino, the young engineer that he was, designed and built his own backwater valve and installed it. It worked! One rainstorm later, a few neighbors asked him to install one for them.
