Last night we had our Holiday Drop-in Party for the participants. Those that attended got to see Santa and enjoy some games, crafts and food.

Last night we held our August monthly meeting for our participants. August is National Family Fun Month so we had a scavenger hunt for the families to participate in as well as some fun activities for the kids to do. The weather was perfect and I think everyone had fun.

We were able to match one of our young parents with a mentor last week. We are hopeful that Caryn and Shyann will develop an everlasting relationship. If you or anyone you know would like to volunteer your time to be a mentor to a young parent in our PLUS 1 program, please reach out to Scott, he would be glad to talk with you.

Last night we took our participants to Splashzone for a swim party. Due to the weather this week we had to cancel a couple times so not everyone was able to make it. The ones who did had a blast. Enjoy some of the pictures!

Last night we held our Baby Bucks Party for the participants - everyone had a great time and got lots of great items using their baby bucks they have earned throughout the year. If you know of anyone that is under the age of 22 and is pregnant or parenting, send them our way so they can join this awesome group of young parents and make connections and learn parent education along the way :)

Amy went on a home visit last week, and was invited to decorate Valentine's cookies and share in a tea party with this little hostess!

Last night we had the mentors and participants together to make cookie dough. Although sickness has hit our participants, the ones who were able to make it had a blast.
