Baby’s first Easter! 🐣🌷

I rounded up all my favorite little finds - keepsake pieces, cozy outfits, and a few fun extras to put in an Easter basket.

It’s all in my Amazon storefront under “Baby’s First Easter Essentials” 🤍 Link in comments.

We did our first park day today.
Dad on swing duty, me behind the camera. Trying to act normal but fully having a “when did he get this big?” moment.🥹

Egg salad for me, absolute chaos for everyone else. 🤪🥚

High protein egg salad on seeded toast for mama… and today Hayes tried egg for the first time.

Did the full routine - egg cooker, rest time, ice bath… peeled like a dream. I really thought I was about to be one of those moms who has it together for a second there.

We made it about six bites in… and then we had a little choking scare right out of the gate (cool calm kinda panicked), despite me watching every “how to serve eggs safely” video on the planet.

So we pivoted. Fast. I grabbed the Magic Bullet and turned it into more of an egg purée, but at that point we decided to go a different route for today.

Looks like breakfast #2 is going to be banana blueberry with rice cereal instead. 🍌🫐

His official egg review:
undecided, slightly confused, mildly suspicious..but willing to participate.😂

And one thing is certain - him, me, his chair, and anything within a 5-foot radius are absolutely covered in eggs.

Eggs are a high allergen and they say to introduce them early, so we’re doing it… just with a little less grace than planned.🫠

Currently pinned to the couch with a sleeping baby on my chest… so naturally I turned on a documentary that has me questioning literally everything in my kitchen. 🫠

Watching The Plastic Detox on Netflix and wow… if you’ve ever dealt with fertility struggles, brain fog, ADHD, weight issues, or have breast cancer in your family, it’s really interesting (and a little unsettling).

Even if you’re just trying to live healthier or be more mindful about what you’re exposed to, it’s worth the watch.

Now excuse me while I side-eye every plastic container I own. 😅

🚨 This little cop just turned 7 months old! 👮‍♂️🚔

We chose a police theme this month because a few years ago we survived a violent break-in, and first responders showed us what real courage looks like.

March will forever be the month we remember finally closing the door on that horrible event & recognize the first responders and law enforcement who were there from the beginning until sentencing.

Hayes is a tiny detective, has FOUR teeth, and is rolling + planking everywhere! 😅

Donuts = “evidence” 🍩❤️

Seven months of healing, joy, and watching light win. ✨

Bubba is not crawling… he’s out here doing a full-blown PLANK like he’s training for baby CrossFit. 💀

WHAT BABY DO YOU KNOW THAT CAN HOLD A PLANK?!

Backyard wedding prep = officially in high gear! 🤍

This old gazebo has sat back there for years with barely any love. We took down the blackened copper cupola, brought the copper back to life, and this weekend stained all the wood + picked the dreamiest coastal paint color.

Lots of trial and error… but it’s starting to feel really special.
Team us!❤️

Wakey wakey, eggs and bakey! 🍳🥓 My honey made the ultimate “happy egg” over-easy perfection inside buttery toast with a side of applewood smoked bacon. Breakfast goals achieved! 😍

What did you have for breakfast?

Infusion #2 💉

Sitting in the parking lot trying to talk myself into walking inside and my face is just… concerned.

First time leaving baby boy for a few hours with my 77-year-old mom, so that’s fun for my nervous system.

Lunch today and I’m obsessed with how these sweet potatoes turned out. 🍠

Cut in half, olive oil, salt & pepper.
Bake skin side up at 350° for 90 minutes. Let cool for about an hour.

That’s it.

Crispy on the outside, perfectly soft inside.
Bonus: sweet potatoes are great for blood sugar regulation, lowering blood pressure, and packed with vitamins A & C for skin and vision health. 👁️ HELLO collagen production! ❤️

Simple food done right. 🏆
