Today I woke up and thanked God for this heart of mine. Lord knows it’s gotten me into some trouble, but it’s also placed me in some beautiful situations. Don’t get me wrong—I’m human, and I fall short sometimes… we all do.

But when you’ve lived the kind of life I’ve lived and still find the strength to bounce back, still love the way I love, still smile, and still walk with your head held high—that says a lot. There were days I didn’t know how I would make it, chapters where God had me all by myself. But now, when I look in the mirror, I can see the shaping and molding that took place.

I may not be everything people expect me to be, but I am exactly who God called me to be—a strong, beautiful, intelligent woman. And even though I still have a long way to go, I’m excited to see what He has in store for me 🩷
