Four years ago today I became an employee of 3 Day Blinds!

Let me say this about that:

I’m not a socialist, I’m not a communist, I’m not exactly a capitalist either. I’m also a believer in Dunbar‘s number, which is about 150.

Robin Dunbar was as sociologist, and his number represents the amount of humans a person can truly be in relationship with. I would add in relationship with at a given time.

So for me to drink Kool-Aid from a corporation, and a corporation of ~1500 people at that, it might just be a cut above, as a corporation.

(Of course, the movers and shakers at LPHS would have had us believe that LPHS was the best too. And what about R-O-C-K-V-I-DOUBLE-L-E? *Also* the best?

But still.)

Dear H didn't wanna, because he felt I have too much personal stuff stashed in Jumbo. But in the end I guess he couldn't help his sweet self!

Captured 3-4 weeks worth of socks in sock locks and didn’t even *try* to color-coordinate sock with lock!

Another professional organizer challenged us to see how many hangers we could liberate from our closets. My total was somewhere between 10 and 20, but this step was almost exclusively a Sort step, from Julie Morganstern‘s Organizing From the Inside Out.

This hanger contains four long-sleeved pajama tops — the purple of the hanger means pajama.

The purge step is not an easy one for me. The turquoise on turquoise polkadot top, for instance, can only go to the trash or the rag bag when I let go of it. BUT TURQUOISE ON TURQUOISE POLKADOT, AND IT HAS A POCKET!

Still, I’ve liberated considerable space, and I can’t help but confront how many long sleeve pajama tops I have.
