Made the trans mount for rallycross nova today. We still have to drill the holes for the frame rail locations, but all the hard parts like full 360 welds and corner reinforcements are done. 400 hp is going through this puppy, no problem. Baby steps to getting 2 cars ready for the back half of the rallycross season here in California!

Got some updates done for RX Nova. Sealing up and reinforcing the firewall for his clutch cylinder and making radiator support brackets so it's locked in for the harsher vibrations of rally racing. Baby steps every weekend, but it'll be slinging dirt soon!

Dump because this week was busy. Almost time to start hitting the projects hard again.

I was going to try and get this 74 honda cb360 running, maybe get my M1 license with it, then pull the engine for a backyard crosskart build. It's been sitting in a shed for 5 years, so i was kind of skeptical, but didn't think it would be totally roached😂 leak down is at 50%, compression in the 80 psi range, time to sell it for cheap.

Its been such a beautiful first week of 1st spring for California. Blue bird days call for bluebird shots.

We found a rusted out floor pan, found out you can 3d print threads pretty accurately for bell housing test fits, and using ingenuity gets you brakes when the new pedal doesn't have a post for the master cylinder piston eyelet.

We 6 speed swapped Spencers 75 Nova over the weekend. Small things left that require some nickels and dimes like a radiator and driveshaft shortened, but it cranks, and nothing is stuck.So you'll probably see it again when it's driving on its own😲

February 2nd meet.

Had a fun morning hanging out at Sierra College cars and coffee! We are definitely keeping this cnc on our regular appearance schedule. It's gonna be cool seeing the 2 team cars from flatfoot evolve over the next year. I hope to see you all out there next month! First Sunday of every month 8-10am!

This whole project was nostalgia feel for me. came to me with this idea and I really wanted to make it happen. It's such an iconic livery and the small changes with her sponsors on the car make it unique and it stands out on the road amazingly.
