Update on this FITech system. First, the stock fuel pressure regulator was unable to control the fuel pressure. An external one was added and it kept the fuel pressure where it was supposed to be at. Second, the seal on the MAP sensor was bad. We modified the seal per FITech instructions. all problems solved. The FITech unit was reset and it performed like it should. . I forgot to say this was tuned by my son, Ian

This is what tuners mean by a fuel map. The jagged one on the left is the result of a self learning, self tuning EFI. The EFI was trying to adjust the fuel map in areas that the EFI thought was lean due to two things, no header gaskets at the heads and poor seal at the header/exhaust collector. The one on the right is after ALL exhaust leaks were repaired and the fuel map was tuned by my son, Ian. Notice how much smoother the map on the right is.

I love the unique cars that come to my shop. 63 T-Bird on an Art Morrison chassis. Powered by a fairly pi**ed off 408 Windsor. Running on FAST EFI. Cleaning up drivability from someone installing the headers without gaskets and poor seal at the collectors. . Allison Black you might like this one 😀

Trying to sort out an issue with FITech EFI. .

454LSX power. Another very nice build. 4L80, a/c etc. switched from FITech to Holley Terminator X port EFI.

383 SBC with a carburetor. Yep, we tune EFI and carburetors!! Amazing flat torque curve. Great work by the owner/builder putting this combo together. Just needed a little 3500 pods to clean up the air fuel. This gentleman races in nostalgic drags with a man pedal lol. .

More Dyno fun. D1-SC Procharged iron headed big block. Sleeper for sure. the Demon blow through carb worked flawlessly. A/F in the low to mid 12’s.
