We have some exciting news! As you know, small businesses and restaurants have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic and we are now putting into place the Rockford Outdoor Refreshment Area (RORA) to help our downtown businesses.
Starting Tuesday, December 15 we will be closing Main St. to vehicles from Bridge St. to Courtland St. and placing picnic tables, benches, fire pits and lights in the street to encourage more take-out dining as well as shopping. The RORA is expected to be available for use starting Thursday (12/17) in the evening. Tables and seating areas will be available on a first come first served basis. We ask that you continue to follow health department guidelines while enjoying the RORA.
