GIRLS NIGHT OUT ROCKFORD PARTY BUS
I do not know where it all started or even where to begin, but I will tell you it was one of the most fun and relaxed nights I have had out in Rockford with the girls in a long time and I can’t wait to do it again. My friends and I are all young mothers and we definitely need a night out together once in a while. We started getting together for a ‘girls night out’ about once every three months last year.
All of us got to talking about doing something different the next time we got together because there were some complaints from the designated drivers last time and there was an incident were we did not feel safe too. One of the girls mentioned her boyfriend had just been to a bachelor party where they were driven around by a bus type limousine for their night out in Rockford, Illinois. We looked into it and when the cost was split several ways it was a lot more affordable than we thought.
Before you knew it we were all getting ready for an interesting night out where none of us had to worry about driving and not partaking in the fun. We had no idea how good things were about to get.
THE ARRIVAL
I was going to be the 5th of 22 girls to be picked up. I don’t usually get ready on time but I made that day an exception. After 3 months of not going out because I needed to attend to my 4 year old and my 2 year old’s every need, believe me I was more than ready for this.
A few minutes later I heard some giggling and laughing coming from outside my front door then the doorbell rang. The smiling and crazy girls that had been picked up before me gave me a hug and we all went back outside.
I was stunned when I first saw the party bus. It was much bigger than it looked in the photos. It was sleek looking and the condition it was in was immaculate. It glistened in the last of the late day sun and Paul the chauffer was standing next the open door wearing a smile and cool getup. He greeted all the girls very warmly when we got up to the bus and he also helped us up the small set of steps too.
I thought the outside of the Rockford party Bus looked great but it was nothing compared to the inside. Talking about a vehicle that was in pristine condition; that thing was amazing. I sank into the incredible plush leather seating and began to take it all in. All around you was fancy lighting, flat screen TV’s and a generously stocked bar which included my favorite wine. Not to mention, the sound system in that vehicle was absolutely incredible. I don’t think my smile could have possibly been bigger.
It was about 5:30 pm when we left my house. Normally the drive to get to where you’re going at rush hour is either slow and requires patience or you pull your hair out. Well on this day we didn’t notice the heavy traffic or the time spent in it because the party had already started. That was one nice thing about renting the Rockford Party Bus; the fun starts the minute you step outside your door.
DINNER AND DANCING
When we pulled up to Franchesco's to eat and got out of the limo (which I admit made me a little bit sad) you would have thought we were celebrities the way everyone was looking at us. You could see some of the onlookers whispering to the people next to them as if they were starting some gossip. More than a few of us got a big chuckle out of all this as we walked into the restaurant.
After dinner and a few drinks we all decided to head down to the Aragona Club because they had some live music going on that night. The few drinks we had made us feel young and we were determined we were going to dance the rest of the night away. The club was a lot of fun but after a few turns on the dance floor many of the girls, including myself I am embarrassed to say, figured out we were not 18 anymore. We gathered are things and slowly made are way back to the comfortable confines of the party bus.
THE ENDING OF A PERFECT NIGHT
Once inside Paul the chauffer asked us where we would like to go next. We talked about it a little but none of us were that thrilled about going to another club. We asked Paul if it would be alright if we just drove around in the party bus for a while. He just smiled and said no problem and asked us what type of music we wanted to listen to as we drove around.
We could not have chosen a better way to end a nice evening out with just us girls. The plush leather seats got the best of a few of my friends as they started to nod off. The rest of us just laughed and cried as we exchanged both old and new stories. There was just something homey about all of us being in that comfortable and friendly setting together.
About an hour later Paul started dropping us off safely one by one. I was happy to be home with my kids because even after just a few hours out I missed them (go figure), but I did regret having to step out of the Rockford Party bus for sure.
Renting the Rockford Party Bus turned out to be one of the best decisions we ever made for girls night out. The entire night we were pampered and catered to by the Paul and we also felt safe and secure the whole time. No one had to worry about sacrificing fun because they had to drive home and it just made for a really carefree and lighthearted evening. We all agreed that would we have to do this again soon. I wish it was tomorrow.
