"Spotted Octopus Brewing Company has announced that is relocating, and expanding, into the former Dobutsu restaurant location at 500 Seneca [in Buffalo]. Until this point, Spotted Octopus has enjoyed a prosperous run at 41 Edward Street in Allentown [and a second location in Rochester]. The combination of quaint pub-like, taproom atmosphere and beer garden grounds has worked very well for the business, but it is now time to move on to bigger and better things..."

Naked Dove Brewing Company in Canandaigua will be open Saturday, June 20, to sell off the remaining stock and raise some final pints in friendship. 🍻

SWAN SONG: I'm out of town this weekend, but my good friend Chris Stilson sent me these photos from the last day for Naked Dove Brewing Company tasting room in Canandaigua. They provided the foundation for Rochester's early craft beer revolution, and after 15 years of brewing great beers their contributions will be missed. 🍻🕊

This morning Naked Dove Brewing Company announced they will be closing their doors on or about June 14th. They opened 15 years ago in Canandaigua and created a solid line-up of traditional recipes that helped form the bedrock of Rochester's pioneering craft beer revolution.
It is with equal parts sadness and gratitude that we announce that Naked Dove Brewing Company will be closing its doors.
This decision was not easy, but it is the right time for us to close this chapter. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built together and the impact we’ve had on the community over these 15 years.
When we opened, our goal was to brew world class beers and share our passion for craft beer with our customers, but we received so much more. We could never have imagined the friendships and memories that would accompany the beer we brewed. For a decade and a half, you’ve celebrated with us, grown with us, and trusted us to fill your glasses and your lives with a little more joy. That’s a gift we’ll never forget.
To our loyal customers, staff (past and present), local partners, and the Finger Lakes beer community, thank you so very much. You made Naked Dove what it is. Your support, your stories, your laughs in the Tasting Room, and your passion for craft beer have meant everything to us.
Please know how grateful we are for every visit, every pint, and every “cheers” shared under our roof. Naked Dove may be closing, but the memories and community we built together will always remain. We are planning on closing Sunday June 14th, but may be open a few more days if the beer holds out.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for 15½ unforgettable years.
Dave, Don and Ken
