Trax (the Eau Claire Express Northwoods League mascot) is probably the greatest mascot in history. Sure, he looks like Mr. Hanky the Christmas poo, but he’s actually a train conducting puff of smoke? He’s a big reason I attend these games…

A few fun gigs this week -- heading up to the Eastbay Lodge in Lake Holcombe this Thursday, December 4th 5:30 p.m. for a solo happy hour performance at this beautiful lakeside lodge, then capping things off this Friday, December 5th with my good pals and fellow troubadours Jake Jendusa, and Wyatt Thomson for a hometown gig in Eau Claire, at 2 Roots Gallery 7-10 pm. Hope to see some of my pals from up north a stretch on Thursday, and hope to see some of my townie pals in E.C. on Friday -- if you haven't caught Jake Jendusa yet -- don't miss this show! He's a hell of a singer and guitar slinger!

Had a great run down south to Decorah, IA and Prairie du Chien, Wisco last weekend with my pal — thanks to Pulpit Rock Brewing and the Tavern for hosting us and for all the kind Iowans and River Rats that came out to listen to our tunes.
Big thanks to the outdoor bathroom enthusiast and poet laureate of Iowa, Mike McAbee, for the tour of Frankville from the tailgate of his 72/73 Scout and for keeping the lights on in that town with his soda machine. We did our part to contribute with two 7-ups, and one Diet Pepsi for Mike.
Lastly, the Haymarket in Decorah is a great place to meet drunk gen Z farmers that like George Jones and REALLY like watching Wyatt drink Old Style, but Wyatt and I aren’t sold that it’s “the best breakfast in Decorah.” (But then again — we are some fancy breakfast bitches…)

We'll be doing a bunch of our own original tunes and picking on electrics, steel guitar, flat-tops, and harmonicas. Gonna be a good time -- hope you can make it out!
