Happy belated birthday David! 🎊Last year, David underwent heart surgery in Rochester, where he faced several challenges. Nonetheless, witnessing the resilience of young individuals as they recover and return home to lead healthy lives is truly gratifying! We are expecting the arrival of another child from Belize soon and are always seeking dedicated volunteers to provide support to these families.

“ The effort of one inspires another.” ❤️
Our dear friend, Gino Poggi Zambrano recently shared how beautiful it has been to watch people come together for Alba Gonzales School. One volunteer helped write the school anthem. Another arranged for doctors to begin visiting students weekly. Another reached out asking how they could help meet the school’s biggest needs.
It’s a reminder that kindness is contagious. When people lead with compassion and a willingness to serve, it inspires others to do the same — creating a ripple effect far greater than any one person could do alone. ✨

What an amazing way to start the school year for the students at Elba Gonzalez grade school.
Today, a dedicated volunteer team of medical, dental, and ophthalmology professionals provided health exams for all of the children — helping ensure they begin the year healthy, supported, and ready to learn.

A beautiful message from Hogar de Belén:
Thank you, Hands for Humanity!
Once again, your generous heart reaches Casa Hogar De Belén to embrace our children and teenagers.
This school year, our little ones will have brand-new uniforms, shoes, and underwear to start classes thanks to this wonderful foundation that, year after year, never forgets them. 🎒👟
Each of them comes to us carrying difficult stories. The Ecuadorian State entrusts them to us while their future is being decided—an adoption, a reunion with their family, or their first steps toward independence. And along that path, knowing that people like you think of them changes everything.
It's not just clothes. It's dignity. It's that first day of school with their heads held high. It's a silent message that tells them: someone in the world sees you and loves you. đź’›

Knowledge is power—and every child deserves a safe, comfortable space where that power can grow. No student should have to struggle to learn in a crowded or inadequate environment. Because of our generous donors, HFH is helping Elba Gonzalez School expand a classroom, giving these children the space they need to dream, to focus, and to thrive. Together, we are not just building walls—we are creating opportunities, hope, and a brighter future for every student who walks through those doors.

It's truly inspiring to encounter the individuals who've benefited from Hands For Humanity's support, and see the positive impact it's had on their lives. Meet Jean Karlo, a talented college recipient from four years ago who has blossomed into a dedicated lawyer, devoted husband, and father. I recently had the pleasure of running into him at church, where he generously volunteers as a teacher at their summer vacation Bible school.
Well done Jean Karlo!!
