It’s been a few weeks since Lilly went out for that one last walk, and I still don’t know what to say, but I feel like I have to say something since I never had the chance to say goodbye, and still can’t believe it happened so soon.

11 years ago decided that we needed a Corgi. Well, this one wasn’t quite a Corgi, but was cheap and available. I was skeptical, as I never had a dog before, but when we first saw her in person, it was love at first sight - this dog was coming home with us, no matter what, we would make it work. Turns out that Lilly was the best decision I ever made. She truly became my best friend - went everywhere with us, made friends with everyone (ok, everyone who wasn’t another canine), and most importantly showed some people who weren’t keen on animals that animals can be loved and appreciated just as much as (oftentimes more than!) other people.

I haven’t been able to see her as much the past couple few years (and she literally could not see much of anything), but I cherished and was grateful for every moment we did have.

Thanks Lilly. I’ll miss you forever.

Sunday, Bad Weapon faces off against that suspicious drifter at for the musical battle of the season. Place your bets now, folks!

Attend all three shows and I will make you a stack of pancakes that will make you say “why doesn’t this guy hang up his geetar and open a diner?!”

Revised summer show schedule! Come say hi at one of these because I will likely not be doing any more gigs after these! Playing music does not bring me the joy it used to. Oh well 🤷‍♂️

Come thru to this Tuesday - will be doing a set of sweeping synths opening for one of our faves !

It’s hard to put into words how much FUN we had this weekend at w/ and It’s so special to share the stage with and play for friends old and new. Thanks for making our out-of-town guests feel so welcome here. Our only regret is that their carry-on luggage wouldn’t fit any more Genesee Brew House swag. Darlingtones will be back later this summer after a short break. In the meantime, go hang out with your friends and family and listen to whatever music makes you feel good.
