Wehrloom Honey

Wehrloom Honey

Today was a day of adventure. Even though it was drizzly, we did a honey run up to Wehrloom Honey in Robbinsville. While Dad was in the store getting our honey, I took Mom for a walk along a back road.

We walked along fields of wildflowers and interesting relics from days gone by. When a car was approaching, Mom made me get off the road. But the car stopped so the driver could get a photo of me for his kids.

When we got back to Murphy, we stopped at Mountain Pets and Water Gardens to get my groceries for the week. Ashley brought a new friend out to meet me. It was Spring Fling in town, so he looked more like a tiger than a little boy. He decided I was a Nordic lion. Roarrrrrrr!

Before getting in the car, I checked out the front seat where Mom always sits. I don't know why I can't sit up there.

Our final stop before getting home was our mailbox at the foot of our drive. I got my first piece of fan mail -- from our mail carrier. She is the best mail carrier ever!

Our all natural raw honey made in the Appalachian Mountains of western North Carolina is complete with all the health benefits nature intended.

Wehrloom Honey comes to you from the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. Graham County, where our hives are located, is made up of 2/3 national forest. This allows our honeybees to make amazingly delicious honey from the wild nectar sources of the Appalachians. We are a small family owned and operated business. We love what we do, and everyday we continue to be fascinated by our honeybees. K

Good morning friends,
We woke up to snow and no power here in Robbinsville. We are being told power won’t be back on until later this afternoon, so we are going to be closed today in Robbinsville only. Asheville is business as usual.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi Folks,
Due to last night's snow and the various drives our staff has to make to get to work we are going to err on the side of caution and close for today at our Robbinsville location. Hope you all enjoy all this beautiful cold and if you're going to go out, stay safe. Have a great day!!!

Just a few quick reminders...
So here's the big one, Friday, this Friday, as in four days from right now Friday, is the absolute last day for you to order online. We generally get orders to the post office within 24 hours, but honestly they're always bogged down this time of year.
And the good news...
4-packs of our new cans are available at both locations and online, swing by the store if you're in town we're open normal hours all week or the website if you're not.
Hope everyone is having a great holiday season.

The higher elevations of southern Appalachia are home to a rather unique summer blooming tree, The Sourwood. This is our favorite honey, thus we had to create a mead that was just plain special. Light, almost buttery, but
