Martini's Cabin in the Mountains Welcome to our place
Anyone getting excited about riding yet? Give the cabin a thought.
I always want to explore the stone roads in the Cherokee forest, but usually have the bike this trip just the truck. So I decided to go out and see what the stone roads had to offer. Pretty cool found a great stream/river looks like decent fishing stocked by a trout fishery.
This cabin would we awesome for one night. I bet the stars would be so bright.

This cabin is ready to start renting out. If you hear of anyone that is interested this fall please pass the word on. The rate for this fall is $80 a night. There is plenty of good riding season left. My contact email is [email protected]
Looking Glass falls, this water falls is located right off of Hwy 276, between the Blue Ridge Parkway and Brevard, NC this water falls is pretty much a no hike to see. Other things in the area are the Sliding rock where people go swimming and slide down a smooth rock in the river. Down towards Brevard there are many places to eat. For more information look here, http://www.ncwaterfalls.com/looking_glass1.htm
Graveyard fields falls is one of my favorite stops to stretch my legs it is located at mile marker 418 this is definitely one of the more popular stops along the parkway even if the parking lot is full the area is so large it is not really crowded. The lower falls are only about 15 minutes from the parking lot; the upper falls are further away but can be worth the walk if you have time. This web site has a lot of good information on distances and what you can see.

Skinny Dip falls are another set of falls located on the parkway at mile marker 417 about halfway between Mount Pisgah Inn and Graveyard Fields. This is nice water falls not as spectacular as some but usually less people the parking lot will give an indication of how many people are there. Sometimes youth group camps use this as a place to visit though. And no I have never seen anyone skinny dipping.

The “cabin” I guess is what we call it is located off of highway 28. Is a small house has 2 bedrooms 1 bath, living room and kitchen equipped for basic cooking, also has a washer and dryer. It has electric baseboard heat if needed and air conditioning. It is about 1 mile off of highway 28 on a nice county road then about 100 yards up a stone road with some incline but nothing unmanageable. Enough room to park a trailer if needed. For location purposes you can map Stecoah NC we are about 7 miles west of there.
All of these are along 64 just west of Highlands NC nice road pull offs if you are going east on 64.
Falls of Cullasaja River along 64 just west of Highlands NC. Most can be seen from the road use pull offs on the way to Highlands. Definitely better to see from the road when heading east towards highlands. Dry falls is just a short walk from a parking lot you can walk behind the falls and remain dry pretty cool.

Can hike to 3 different waterfalls from one parking lot Triple Falls, High Falls and Hooker Falls. Maybe about 1 hour hike to see all 3 falls.
