Michael Baker International is proud to support and volunteer at this year's WEFTEC Community Service event. This year, a permeable outdoor classroom area was built by volunteers, with donated materials and funds, that includes a bioswale with native plants and gathering space for students.

Michael Baker International surface water expert, Elizabeth Krousel, PE, associate vice president, is volunteering today WEFTEC's community service project. 200 volunteers are working to construct two bioswales to help with flooding and water quality issues at the New Orleans city hall.
