The sisters began their musical journey with Classical piano studies at the age of seven before branching out into heavier territory at twelve — Jackie on guitar and Jessica on drums. In 2015, they founded Dianthvs, fusing their classical roots with their passion for modern metal. Over the years, Dianthvs has carved out a name in both their hometown and beyond. Recognized in Riverside with the Riverside Pride Success Award by the city’s mayor and council, the band later reached a milestone moment when they were invited to open the 9th Annual Another Death Angel Christmas Show in San Francisco. Sharing the stage with thrash legends Vio-lence and Death Angel at the sold-out Great American Music Hall, Dianthvs made their mark in the very birthplace of thrash metal. Their sound has continued to evolve through ambitious releases. The debut album, Worth Living For, produced by Jeremy “Jinxx” Ferguson (Black Veil Brides) and Chad Shlosser, showcased early favorites like "Within Hazel Eyes", "Chrysalis", and "Black Snow". Their follow-up record, Realms, produced by Steve Evetts (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Poison the Well, Symphony X), marked their first conceptual album — a mystical sisterhood adventure expanded into a full comic book collaboration with alumni of The Kubert School of New Jersey. Dianthvs’ music is deeply visual as well as sonic. Their videos, from the eerie hallway flashes in "A Space in the Silence" (a nod to Kubrick’s The Shining) to the hauntingly powerful "Alive in the Moonlight" (their first to feature harsh vocals), immerse listeners into their world of contrasts: elegance and heaviness, beauty and brutality, light and shadow. Fueled by their Victorian-inspired aesthetic and bound by the chemistry only twins can share, Dianthvs continues to push their music into deeper realms — crafting a sound and vision that is as evocative as it is relentless.
