Exciting progress update on the aluminum hull project.

I recently met with a mechanical engineer to move forward with the 3D scanning stage, which is a key step in helping us bring this idea to life. This is an important part of the process as we continue working toward getting everything ready for the fabrication shop and pushing the project closer to reality. Looking forward to sharing more progress as we move ahead. I also shared a reference photo to show the direction I’d like the final project to take.

ALUMINUM HULL PROGRESS: Something BIG is Brewing…
You’ve seen the vision. You’ve dropped the ideas. Now the real work’s underway. Late nights, shop emails, and geometry hunts that’d make your head spin. This isn’t just talk anymore.
Progress locked in, but the full reveal? Not yet.
• Specs incoming…
• Partners circling…
• This isn’t just for PNW crews… this will be built to dominate rocky New England rivers, shallow Southern bays, Great Lakes chop, anywhere PWCs take abuse. Full plate developments and weld sequences pending scan data.
Detailed brief coming soon. Technical feedback welcome from all regions.
Who’s ready when this beast drops? Stay tuned. The wait’s worth it. 👀💪🌊

Huge thank you to everyone who’s jumped on board so far, watched the rides, and followed along with the projects. This whole page started as a way to share my jet ski adventures here in the PNW, and it’s honestly awesome to see a community slowly forming around it.
More river runs, breakdowns, fixes, and aluminum hull chaos coming soon. Appreciate every single one of you for being here from the start.

Hey JetLifePNW family — thanks to everyone who commented, joking, questioning, and sharing ideas. I read everyone’s comments, and I wanted to drop a short follow‑up to clear up the main points.
“Why aluminum?”
This isn’t about replacing good riding; it’s about adding durability, strength, and peace of mind for riders who push into rocky, shallow, or log‑heavy water — especially river riders. Think of it as a tougher bottom so you’re not stressing about fiberglass cracks and expensive repairs.
“How strong is it?”
We’re talking marine‑grade 5083‑H116 aluminum, the same class of alloy used in many aluminum boats. Target thickness is 1/8” to 1/4” in the main hull areas, with welded ribs — strong enough to handle typical impacts while keeping weight reasonable. This is a full aluminum hull, not a thin plate, and it’s meant to replicate the shape and geometry of the stock ST3 hull so it bolts up to the existing deck and running gear.
“Just ride better and you won’t need this”
Totally fair — if you’re riding clean, open water and staying away from rocks, the stock fiberglass hull works great. This is really for riders who want to explore shallower, rockier, or more remote areas and want a tougher platform under them.
“Where and when can I get this done?”
I’m based in the Pacific Northwest, and this is still an early concept, not a finished product. My goal is to make this service available to riders everywhere, not just the PNW. I’m working on a simple process so anyone who wants the upgrade can bring their PWC in for the swap, and I’ll keep it as straightforward as possible — from drop‑off to pick‑up. I’ll share more concrete details on how it will work and where it will be done once we lock in the first shop and build flow.
Thanks again for all the feedback and honesty — this is still being shaped by you.

Before anything officially launches, JetLifePNW is putting two concept packages in front of the PWC community to see what riders actually want.
JetLife River Ready Hull
Built aluminum hull for Sea-Doo fitment with customer-arranged install. Projected starting price: $5,495.
JetLife Pro Swap
Built aluminum hull plus stock hull removal, install, sealing, and fitment check. Projected starting price: $6,995.

Right now, the prices exist more as ranges we’re testing, not hard numbers. The goal is to see whether riders feel this kind of upgrade should live in the low‑$5000s, mid‑$5000s, or low‑$7000s kind of range.
If you ride rivers, sandbars, or rocky areas, which option feels worth it for you, and what price range feels realistic?
