Twenty years ago, I was the one walking across that stage as part of the Class of 2006.

Today, I got to watch my second-born son walk across that same stage as part of the Class of 2026.

I screamed. I cheered. I cried.

Because no matter how old they get, you'll always remember the day they were born, the first day of school, and all the moments in between.

Watching your child accomplish something they've worked so hard for is a feeling I can't even put into words.

Tavieon, I am beyond proud of you. It wasn't always easy, but you stayed focused, stayed out of trouble, and made it to the finish line.

This mama's heart is so full today. 💜✨

Today, I had the honor of watching my second-born son do the same as part of the Class of 2026.

As a mother, there is no greater feeling than seeing your child reach a milestone you've already experienced and knowing all the hard work paid off.

No kids. No trouble. Stayed focused. Stayed determined. And now he's earned that diploma. 🙌🏽✨

Tavieon, I am beyond proud of you and the young man you've become. Watching you walk across that stage brought tears to my eyes and so much joy to my heart.

I'm grateful to be employed, but I'm still searching for the right fit, the right environment, and the right opportunity.
