The EI-AHEC team enjoyed our day providing Mental Health First Aid training to them and it was impressive to see how this group which represented many different roles at the college including student life, residence halls, public safety, religious life, student health, counseling center, and athletics all work together to make sure students have a safe and supportive environment.

On , we celebrate the emancipation of Black Americans and reinvigorate ourselves for the continued work we must do to address ongoing racial injustice in our country, our institutions and ourselves. To honor this day and those it represents, Earlham will observe this holiday on Monday, June 21, and it will continue to be a part of our official holiday calendar in future years.
As an institution, we also believe that it is necessary to provide anti-racist resources to our community like the Earlham Center for Social Justice and classes in African and African American Studies and Peace and Global Studies, and to raise up the voices of student orgs like Black Student Union and the Multicultural Student Association.
Drop a note in the comments to share an anti-racist resource or tag a Black-owned business that other should check out!
