We will not be meeting as a group beforehand but you can begin at 7:30pm. We ask that those of you giving out candy wear gloves and a mask (if possible) & all trick or treaters wear masks if able. Stop at the Ranch House to pick up gloves if needed.

As most of you know, as of Saturday July 25, 2020, masks will be required in all indoor spaces. We are asking that you help us comply with the state mandate and wear your mask when inside the Ranch House and bathhouses. Exceptions to this include children under 5 years of age and those whose mental or physical health would be at risk while wearing a mask.

Masks can be removed to eat, drink and bathe. Masks are not needed on the deck as long as social distancing can been be maintained so stop by for a drink or a pizza and relax on the deck!

Thanks for all your help and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Hello ERM Campers!

We have some updates for you as we move in to the 2020 season! We were officially able to open for camping June 1st and are taking reservations in to the summer. A few changes have been made going forward so we can best serve our campers and customers. Please let us know if you have any questions on these changes and we would be more than happy to help you!

1. Large group activities are on hold at this time. Due to the Executive Orders of the Governor we are not able to host large group activities (crafts, tournaments, bands/DJs, etc.) but hope to return to these soon. We are exploring options for our campers with independent activities (ex. scavenger hunts, take-away crafts, etc.) and will post those soon.

2. The Wild West Show has been postponed due to the Executive Order currently in place. The new date is July 31-August 1, 2020. Please see The Wild Creek Entertainers website for more details on this. If you have reservations for this event and would like to reschedule to the new dates, please call ERM.

3. The Minnesota Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Festival is still on at this time but a decision will be made on this event no later than June 30th. Please see the Minnesota Bluegrass website for more details.

Attached is the new guidelines ERM will be following at this time. These guidelines are subject to change and we hope to return to "normal" soon! Thank you for your patience and we are excited to welcome our campers back!

[05/27/20]   Good morning all ERM Campers!

We are just letting you know that due to the orders of the Governor, the Bluegrass Campin' & Pickin' Party that was scheduled this weekend (May 29-30th) has been cancelled.
Please see the Minnesota Bluegrass & Old Time Music Association website ( minnesotabluegrass.org ) for more information. Updates on the August festival will be posted there no later than June 30th.

This also means that we are still unable to allow overnight or weekend camping at this time. We are hopeful that with the new guidelines set by the county and state, we will be able to open for camping on JUNE 1st!

With the new guidelines comes a few changes for our campers. Please stay tuned for these changes as we will be posting those very soon!

We are so excited to see you all soon and can't wait to start the 2020 camping season... even if it's a little different than normal!

[05/15/20]   Hello ERM Campersโ€ฆ
It is with a heavy heart that we let you know we will be unable to open for Memorial Day as we hoped. We are unsure how or why the governor has determined recreational camping (short term/weekend camping) be non-essential as we recognize it is crucial to so many families mental, social and emotional health. We are urging our campers to call or email the office of Governor Tim Walz to get clarification on this situation as we have not been able to get answers our campers so desperately want. We are unsure why retail stores and malls can reopen or hotels and cabins can allow guests but we must remain closed or face fines and even jail time.

For those that had reservations, we will be contacting you regarding the cancellation of your reservation. We will be issuing a full credit on your account that can be used towards any future camping stays, horseback riding or merchandise during 2020 OR 2021 but will not be refunding credit/debit cards at this time. We are following in the same footsteps as other parks, hotels and airlines with this policy. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We, along with our fellow campgrounds in the area, are unsure when we will be able to open to our campers and horseback riders but be assured you will be the first to know. Keep an eye on social media pages as we hope to update you soon! We are trying very hard to get this resolved but need your help and ask that you contact state officials such as representatives, the lieutenant governor and the governor to voice your thoughts.

Thank you to each and every one of our campers, visitors and customers for your patience in this crazy time. Just know we canโ€™t wait to see you soon!

Water is ON and flowing!

We are advising that seasonal campers not drink the water YET as we are in the process of shocking the wells to make it safe to drink but you are able to flush toilets and utilize water in your campers. We will let everyone know when it is safe to drink the water soon! We are in the process of repairing a few posts (so please be patient) but most of the campground is functional!

Reminder to wave, honk or yell "hello" as you pass the Ranch House! We miss you and can't wait to be open soon!

It may be a drizzly Friday... But we are excited to have our seasonal campers back!

Just a reminder to give us a call regarding balances on accounts or to make a payment, register your ATVs and boats and to let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

PS: Wave as you pass the Ranch House! We miss seeing you but hope to be open soon!

[04/29/20]   Notice to ALL SEASONAL CAMPERS:
(Warning- Long Post Ahead)
As we prepare to open for our seasonal campers on Friday, May 1st, we want to share the guidelines we have put in place to help keep everyone safe while you are at ERM.
1. Public areas (including Ranch House, Bath Houses, Beach, Shelter, Playgrounds, Arcade, Bar, Horseback Riding Stable, Etc.) will be closed until further notice.
2. Docks are CLOSED until further notice as they have not been inspected for the season yet. Please do not tie boats to docks at this time. The boat landing is OPEN but remember to have your boat registered with the ERM office prior to launch.
3. We encourage everyone to practice social distancing (6โ€™ apart) and ask that you keep groups small (less than 10 people).
4. ALL CONTRACTS ARE DUE! If you still need to submit your contract please place it in the black mailbox on the Ranch House deck and call the Ranch House to notify us that it is there. All paperwork needs to be submitted to ERM office (contract, ATV registration, boat registration) or amenities such as electric and dock spaces may not be available. We will empty the mailbox daily so payments can be made there as well. The Ranch House WILL BE CLOSED but an appointment can be made if necessary for paperwork.
5. WATER will not be on at this time. A few trailers are still sitting on top of frozen ground and we donโ€™t want to risk damaging water lines which could jeopardize water for the whole campground. We are doing our best to have it on ASAP!
*By entering the campground, you agree to comply with the precautions we have in place to help protect you and your fellow campers.*

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this information, please give us a call at 320-597-2740!

We finally have some good news for you after the Governors announcements yesterday! We have been working closely with the county and are excited to announce that we will be able to open for our SEASONAL CAMPERS only on FRIDAY, MAY 1st!

There are a few guidelines that we will need to follow in order to make this work.
1. The Ranch House, bath houses, beach, horseback riding, arcade, playgrounds and grocery area will remain closed until further notice.
2. We are encouraging everyone to practice social distancing and ask that no visitors are in the campgrounds at this time (those living within the same household are allowed).
3. Hiking & biking trails will be OPEN! We ask that you practice social distancing but encourage you and your family to get out and enjoy the fresh air.
4. Boat launch will be open but social distancing is encouraged. Boats & pontoon MUST be registered with ERM office. DOCKS are CLOSED as they have not been inspected yet for the season. We hope to have them open soon!
6. Water will not be on yet but we are hopeful we can have it up and running around May 15th (or as weather permits).

Sadly, we still don't have any more information for our weekend campers but are hopeful the county and state will let us know more soon.

As always, if you have any questions, please give us a call at 320-597-2740.

*Please share this with any fellow campers! We greatly appreciate it!*

Governor Walz expands outdoor recreation opportunities

With the weather getting nicer every day, we know you are all looking forward to getting out and enjoying all that spring has to offer.

We wanted to pass on the info that we have as of right now. Per the MN Governor's orders (see link below) announced Friday (April 17th) we are CLOSED until May 3rd. This means we are not able to allow access into the campgrounds without an appointment. We know this is not the news anyone wants to hear but we are still hopeful that things will change a bit this week and at least give our seasonal campers access to their trailers. We are hoping to get more clarity from the state regarding a seasonal camper versus general weekend camper and will pass that info on as soon as we have it.

We are still accepting reservations and preparing for the season! We want to have everything up and ready to go when we do get the GO-AHEAD from the county & state.

As always, if you have any questions, please give us a call at 320-597-2740!

Governor's Executive Orders:

mn.gov Governor Tim Walz today issued Executive Order 20-38, which expands allowable outdoor recreational activities.

Happy Thursday everyone!

We just wanted clarify a few things for our campers as we have had a lot of questions the last few days.

Question 1: Are you open for camping or horseback riding?
NO! We are still CLOSED. We are waiting to hear from the county and state when we will be able to open for the season but don't, unfortunately, have any more info at this time.

Question 2: Are seasonals able to come open up their trailers, even if they are not staying?
NO! We are still CLOSED. Unfortunately, we are not able to allow anyone in the campgrounds yet unless you have an appointment set up in advance. If you show up, sadly we will have to turn you away.

Question 3: Will this camping season be AWESOME?
YES! We are hopeful that once we get the go ahead from the county and state, we will be able to have an awesome camping season with our weekend, seasonal and horse campers! We are very much looking forward to seeing everyone soon!

If you have any questions, please give us a call at 320-597-2740.
