Volunteers Around the World is going to work with local families in Guatemala and we are accepting applications for volunteers! We will be taking a group of students who are passionate about the environment and sustainability, and we will give them the tools and direction needed to help improve the living conditions of the families we are working with. We will do this by implementing home solutions that will improve living conditions by providing basic needs in a sustainable manner
This includes:
• compost boxes
• recycled water and water filtration systems
• family gardens
• latrines.
This is an amazing opportunity to learn about sustainability, farming, clean water solutions, and a new culture! Students typically come from an engineering or environmental science background, but we do accept applications from all backgrounds and majors.
If this sounds like something you would like to lead email me at [email protected] for more info! We are looking to bring a VAW Global chapter to your campus and need a TEAM LEADER to do so.
