What Evolving Entails 🌱

Hello curlfriends!

There are some exciting changes happening at Evolve Naturally by Shannon. You will begin to see upgraded services and adjusted pricing and here’s why…(if you have previously booked appointments as of today, services/prices are the same until your next reservation).

Evolve Naturally by Shannon was originally established in August of 2019. Now, two years later, I’ve been creating, operating, and mastering the art of hair care. It’s a major investment of time, money, my physical body, and my mind. Though, I’ve always wanted to create a space that’s safe, clean, private, and a place where you can feel at ease and relieved even if just in that moment. My hope is that you all have experienced nothing less.

This month serves as the fifth month of active entrepreneurship for me and I have learned a ton already. Honestly speaking, I had no idea of the depth of business ownership prior to now and I still don’t know it all. The search for top quality all natural ingredient products has been tough but I am committed to providing nothing but the best. Even down to the selection of music, diffuser scent, and brightness of the lighting are considered before you even enter.

Transparent moment…

I must admit that I had not considered the cost of starting up nor the maintenance that Evolve Naturally would require. From the investment cost of products shipped from Canada, to the various shampoos and conditioning treatments I use specifically for your hair type and scalp needs, and the additional necessities, I honestly have not set pricing appropriately. 😏

Natural haircare is a specialty and it is essential that your curls be handled with care. My vow to you all is to continue my education in this field in order to provide the best solutions when it comes to treating your hair. With this investment must come an adjustment in services and the costs associated with the them.

You are building up points and for every 100 points you earn, you’ll receive free services which will show during checkout. There are also coupons that disperse periodically (discounts can not be combined).

Hello everyone!

Just wanted have “keep in minds” for you all.

1. If you check out my booking website on Vagaro, you will see all availability. You can, more than likely, catch an opening faster than I can.

2. You may cancel your appointment via Vagaro up to 24 hours before the reservation. Please do not send cancellation by email through Vagaro because I’m not alerted about the message.

3. If you cancel on the day of or do not show for your appointment, you will be sent an invoice for the total of the services you selected. You will not be able to book again until payment is remitted. I understand the unexpected happens at times, however, your absence greatly affects the flow of the work day. Often, I waive the first cancellation fee for emergencies. Please be mindful.

4. Canceling the day of or not showing blocks at least an hour from my schedule. Some services withhold more time and prevents others from taking that appointment time. There are clients who are on the waitlist and desire to get in ASAP.

5. PLEASE call before exiting your vehicle when you arrive for your appointment. I may be finishing up the previous client and/or need to clean before servicing you.

6. If you contact me after business hours, please anticipate my reply the following business day.

7. Need an early or late appointment outside of regular operating hours? Just ask. Fees DO apply and opportunities are limited.

8. Need to book recurring appointments? Ask me how.

Model Call!

Hello all,

I have been investing in my craft by learning some new and exciting techniques. Sooo….I need models! See below for details.

Silk Press:
This opportunity requires the use of heat from a flat iron and hair dryer and the use of a Denman brush. Model must have at least shoulder length hair, be able to stay until the completion of the session, and agree to taking photos during the process.

Platinum Blonde:
The Platinum Blonde model must have well moisturized and maintained hair. Model must commit to regular visits for the upkeep and overall hair health after initial application. Consultation is required. Model must be able to stay for the entire duration of processing and styling.
