🚨🚨 We are getting closer to our goal but not there yet!!! We still need your help! 🚨🚨
Every $1, $5, 20, or $200 helps.

🎉 Thank you to all that have already donated. 🎉

The Richland Center Community and graduates of Richland Center High School continue to rise for the Richland Center Auditorium Elevator Project.

Any donation will help make an impact. For donations by check, please make checks payable to RCPAC and include elevator and class year in the memo. Checks can be mailed to RCPAC, PO BOX 188, Richland Center, WI 53581 or donations can be made online at rcpac.org. Please indicate on your online donations which class you graduated with.

The Richland Center Performing Arts Council and the Auditorium Renovation Project want to thank the classes from Richland Center High School and the many generous donors who are helping to add an elevator to the Richland Center Auditorium.

04/01/2021

Looking for a way to help the community? WE NEED YOU!

Here is a conceptual drawing of the proposed elevator project for the Richland Center Performing Arts Center (RCPAC). The auditorium is a historic landmark in Richland Center. The stage has been a platform of entertainment and education for thousands of dancers, actors, actresses, musicians, RC graduates, politicians, comedians, and so many more. RCPAC is so close to realizing the dream of having an elevator. The elevator would make the building ADA compliant and all guests to have access to each of the three floors. The cost of the project is $1.2m. RCPAC has received a federal grant along with a generous grant from the Woodman Foundation. We still need approximately $180,000 to secure the final funds for the project. The remaining money is needed by June 1, 2021. If we don't secure the additional funds, the federal grant of $752,341 will be lost. Raising $180,000 is much more attainable than $1.2m, and we can do this with everyone's help!

Please show your support by making a donation. ANY donation, large or small, will make an impact, Let's keep RC alive and thriving. Donations can be mailed to: RCPAC, PO Box 188, Richland Center, WI 53581. Online donations can be made by the GoFundMe link found on our website at www.RCPAC.org or clicking on the following link: https://www.gofundme.com/f/elevator-rise-to-the-top?utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet&utm_medium=copy_link_all&utm_source=customer. If you are joining the RCHS graduating class challenge, please include the year you graduated in the memo.

Share this post on your social media pages and help spread the word. There is power in numbers, and we need all hands on deck! Let's rise to the top together!

COVID has closed so much down, including the downtown auditorium. So just for fun.

So let’s look to the future....

If you could bring any act to the auditorium who would you like to see?

This can include a play/musical, or bands, singers, or comedian, anyone!!!! Who would you pay to see in RCPAC?

Again, this is just for fun.

To all friends of Our Community Auditorium! This is big news! Our Historic Richland Center Community Auditorium is in the final stages of being considered to receive a project grant as part of the Community Development Block Grant – Close program that Richland County is moving through. The funds would be earmarked for ADA accessibility through the installation of an elevator on the south side of the building.
This has been on our dream list since the board of directors took over in 2009. To help us with the grant we would like to invite you all to attend a virtual meeting coming up next Thursday at 6:30. details are as follows.
County announcement.
We are 1 week away from having the Public Hearing on our CDBG Richland Center Auditorium – ADA Accessibility Project. The time of the hearing is Thursday, Dec. 17th, @ 6:30pm. It will be by video and phone conference only.
The hearing notice has been published in the Observer last week and this week. The notice is also on the home page of the Richland County Website. If you visit the site the notice is near the bottom of the page in a light blue box.
The link I am providing below is a direct link to the notice. Inside of the notice there is another link to connect by video conference as well as information to connect by phone. The agenda we will follow is also there.https://www.co.richland.wi.us/pdfs/CDBG%20Public%20Hearing%20Notice%20-%2011-30-2020%20VFinal.pdf
Bottom line is... we need your support at this meeting !! If you believe in our Mission to bring this building back please join us at this meeting to lend your support. Hope to see you there.
