Andrew Sharp has been a member of the Community Players since it started in 2000. He was the group's first President and has been in and directed many shows. Some of his most memorable shows include Godspell, The King and I, West Side Story, Man of La Mancha, Peter Pan, The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins. Ellie Riley: Jolly the Elf
Ellie Riley is a 10 year old, 4th grader at the Richland Christian Academy. This is her third play performance; she will be an elf at Santa’s Workshop! This summer she played a goat named White Swan in Heidi and was a lynx in Aslan’s Army for the campus performance “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.”. Ellie loves cats of all kinds, she has 2 at home, Luna and Shiloh. After school she likes to go to church, Irish Dance, and Girl Scouts. She loves spending time with her family, her friends and her cats. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Hello, I am hunter Daines. This is my 3rd production i have been in. I have been a leopard in the lion the witch and the wardrobe, a paper boy in Heidi and now I am happy to be in this production of elf the musical! I enjoy playing my guitar, acting and performing. I hope you enjoy the show!

Allicia Woodhouse: Emily Hobbs, Butterfly
Allicia Woodhouse has enjoyed theater as an audience member for as long as she can remember. She followed her children to tread the boards several years ago as Julie in “Show Boat” and has played several roles since at the Coppertop Theater and with Southwestern Community Players. Most recently she played the White Witch in “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.” Allicia enjoys cooking, gardening, and many other outdoor activities.

Hi everyone! My name is Sophia Ringelstetter and I am in 8th grade. A couple of years ago, I participated in the live commercials for the Gilligan’s Island Musical. I loved it so much I knew I wanted to be in another one. I am so excited for you to see Elf the Musical. We had so much fun singing and dancing at rehearsals. I hope you enjoy the show!

Hi, I am Amelia Ayala, I am 11 years old and in sixth grade at the Richland Intermediate School. I enjoy reading, singing, and hanging out with friends and family. Alan Morawiec: Not Santa, Ted
Alan Morawiec is a Brooklyn, NY native, Veteran teacher of 40 yrs and currently a Tech Ed teacher at RCHS. He is the founder of www.holocaustshoeproject.com. This is his first time participating in any type of play or musical.

Lance Ottman: Mr. Greenway, Police Officer 2, Sad Santa #6
Lance Ottman has previously appeared on stage in Community Players productions of 1776,
Annie, and The Crucible, as well as played trombone in the orchestra of numerous other
Community Player productions. Lance works as a teacher for the Department of Corrections,
and is allowed to leave prison at the end of every day. He spends most of his free time as an
active grandfather, and wouldn’t have it any other way.

Allison Adams: Tiara the Elf, Kim
Allison Adams is 11 years old and attends Riverdale Elementary School in Muscoda. This is her 3rd play performance. She has performed in The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe and played the lead role in Heidi this summer, which she greatly enjoyed. This is her first musical and is excited to learn the differences in this type of performance. In her free time, Allison plays piano and tenor saxophone. She also enjoys her two dogs, 23 chickens, and a barn cat. She hopes you enjoy this musical!

Elyse Stafslien: Matthews, Macy’s Store Elf
Elyse is a sophomore at the Richland Center High School. She will be playing Matthews, as well as a Macy's elf. This is her 3rd show with the community players, but she has done 3 other shows at her school. She enjoys reading, writing, and playing her saxophone. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Lauren Young: Macys Elf, Flyer Girl, Finale Tapper

Lauren is very excited to be in her first community musical at Richland Center since playing one of the kids in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.” She is a special education teacher at Richland Intermediate School. Lauren wants to enhance her awareness of the community and take the worries of the day away through the magic of music. As she was born on Christmas, Elf seemed like the perfect musical to be a part of!

Milo Mackesey: Ivy the elf

Milo is 11 years old and a fifth grader at Kickapoo Elementary School. His interests include science, art, gaming & cats... all the cats. He is also a Rince Mo Chroi Irish dancer. Milo is excited to share his theatrical debut with you this holiday season!

Troy Miller is performing in his first ever Community Players production. When he is not performing on stage he enjoys being a stay at home dad to his three children in Spring Green. As his first foray into the performing arts he hopes that Elf the Musical brings each and everyone of us joy and wishes all a happy holiday season.

Molly Weiss: Jingle the Elf

Molly is 8 years old and a student at St. Mary's school in Richland Center. This is Molly's first production with Community Players. Molly has been dancing since she was 3 and loves being on stage.
She recently sang in her first recital with Mrs. Liz Niemeyer. Molly hopes this fun Production of Elf will fill you with the Joy of Christmas in your heart!

Samantha Wipf: Deb

Samantha is brand new to Community Players. Her acting background is limited to her high school play Every Crook and Nanny, which she thoroughly enjoyed. She has experience singing on stage at local open mics and at her church. As an avid reader, Samantha loves to try out different voices and accents as she reads to her family. She is happy to have another chance to perform--especially with such a fun group!

Aleric Riley is an 11 year old, 6th grader at the Richland Christian Academy . This is his third time acting on stage, he will be playing Charlie, an elf in Santa’s Workshop that makes sure everyone stays on schedule. His first acting was for the campus production of “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” as Edmund for the understudy performances and a porcupine on the other ones. This summer he played both a goat and a townsperson in Heidi. For fun Aleric likes to play Minecraft, make art, and play board games. He hopes you enjoy watching the show.

Laura Maloney:Waitress, NYC ensemble

Laura has been in multiple shows with Community players and UW-Platteville Richland Theatre. She has been in The Murder at Coppersmith Inn, Saint Joan, and most recently took her brother Lance's place as the Minotaur in The Lion, the witch, and the Wardrobe after his passing. She wishes to honor him doing what he loved. She hopes you enjoy this production of Elf the Musical.

Santa Clause as himself

Santa Clause has been traveling the world for far longer than he can even remember; his age, after all, is as old as his tongue and a little bit older than his teeth. He thoroughly enjoys his job of rewarding all the nice children throughout the world on Christmas Eve, but sometimes gets a bit bored for the rest of the year. After all, the elves are mostly in charge of the actual making of the toys. And so, he is delighted to have had something to do for a couple of months, heading down here to Richland Center every night for rehearsals. It has been hard work, but the delighted looks on all the children of all ages in the audience is sure to make this hard work worth it. The rest of the year, Santa enjoys spending time with Mrs. Clause, playing with the elves, and watching important classic movies, such as Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, Miracle on 34th Street, and of course Elf.

Anne Wipf/Tinsel the Elf:
Anne is excited to be acting on the stage for the first time! Her other stage experience includes Irish dancing with Rince Mo Chroi since 2019 and singing at open mics. When she's not singing or dancing, you can often find her reading, writing, baking, or organizing dance shows and skits for friends and family. She hopes you have a very Merry Christmas!

Hunter Jennings: Teenager/Macy’s Elf/Rockefeller skater

Hunter is the son of Jillian Richard. He is in 8th grade at RCHS and this is his first time performing with the Community Players of Southwest Wisconsin. He enjoys video games mostly but is also involved in choir, band, cross country and track. He has been having a great time learning how the theater productions work and getting to know all the wonderful people involved as well. He is looking forward to doing more plays and improving his skills! He hopes you will enjoy the play and have a Merry Christmas!!!

I have been involved in music in many facets in the past : worship director, music teacher and a student of music myself, but I have never set foot on a theater stage. Daniel Carlson: Security Guard 1, Fake Santa 4, David Lambert and Ensemble

Daniel is celebrating his 9th year being a member of Community Players. His involvement in both CP and UW Richland Theatre has given him opportunities to be involved in different capacities such as actor, prop master, director, costumer, light board operator, assistant director and several others. “Elf: The Musical” marks as Daniels 24th production in local theatre and his 3rd Musical, and 14th production with Community Players. Daniel teaches Preschool thru 1st Grade at the Richland Christian Academy. Outside of theatre he stays busy with his nieces nephews, church activities, and his dog and cat.

Fiona is the daughter of Priscilla Carlson and Phil Sands. She is in the second grade at the Richland Primary School. “Elf the Musical” is Fiona’s second production and first musical with Community Players. She previously stared in the commercials of “Gilligan’s Island: The Musical” (2022). Fiona attends the Richland Baptist Temple and is a student of the Rince Mo Chroi Irish Dancers. She also enjoys creating art, singing, spending time with family and friends, and always being a great sister to her siblings. Fiona wishes you a Merry Christmas!

Jessica Carlson: Emma Von Brocklin, Macy Customer, Ensemble

Jessica is a lifelong Richland County resident and has been a member of community players for almost 8 years. "Elf The Musical” marks Jessica's 4th production and first musical with Community Players. She has appeared in " Miracle on 34th Street: The Play" (2015), "Miracle Worker" (2018), and "Gilligan's Island: The Musical" (2022). She has also been in UW Richland Productions such as "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" (2023) and "The Tree Grows in Brooklyn " (2022). Jessica also acted in several Richland Center High school productions including "Yearbook Reflection" and "Guys and Dolls" (2018). Jessica volunteers at the Richland Christian Academy in the Kindergarten classroom. She enjoys spending her time taking Irish Dance, attending church, creating art, swimming, and spending time with family and friends. Jessica hopes you enjoy the show and thanks you for attending.

CAST ANNOUNCED FOR “ELF THE MUSICAL”
The Community Players are hoping to brighten this Christmas season by presenting “Elf the Musical.” Audiences will be familiar with the 2003 movie “Elf” which starred Will Ferrell. “Elf the Musical” is a retelling of that same story set to music.
The show is a razzle-dazzle Broadway-style production that will be sure to please audiences and fill them with Christmas cheer! It stars Buddy, who mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. He is raised unaware that he is actually a human until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. Buddy then embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. His unique gifts and bright disposition revive a city that’s lost the Christmas spirit!
Show dates are December 1, 2, 3, 8, 9 and 10 and will hit the stage of the Coppertop Theater at the former UW-Richland. Tickets are just $15 for adults, $10 for children as well as a family package of two adults and all the kids for $50.
