This brand new beautiful aqua truck is our special "Truck- for-Today". Shout out to all the NURSES that have been working tirelessly, especially these last couple tough years. Nurses are definitely the "Heartbeat of Healthcare" & we THANK them for all they do each & every day. Keep an eye out for our "Thank You Nurses" truck & give them a Beep of your horn or snap a picture, to show nurses your appreciation 💙 This beauty looks even better in person!

Today we honor our brave Police & First Responders. They are the 1st to arrive in someone's time of need, & dive head first into the fray of danger to protect others. Their selflessness and bravery is incredible & heroic. THANK YOU for your willingness & dedication to keeping us all safe.

We honor all those hard workers in trucking + all related industries. It's tough at times, but it's truly the foundation for what most other businesses are developed upon.

Shout out to all the Virginia Tech Hokie Fans for day 4 of our "Truck-a-Day"! We're a little biased, but we think the Virginia Tech truck is extra cool. Could be because our son Josh is a current sophomore at VT, that our Hokie Pride shines even brighter ✨ We're fortunate to have such a strong University here in the Commonwealth.

This very special truck showcases our commitment to paying tribute to our troops for all they do to protect our country. Day 2 of the "Truck-a-Day" campaign is our special 50th Anniversary Truck designed to celebrate 50 years of serving our wonderful customers. The late James R. Tharpe started J.R. Tharpe Trucking in 1971, with his lovely wife Ann to support him. James started the business with 8 trucks, which hauled out of Luck Stone in Burkeville to local customers. The company now operates over 100 trucks, which has been a personal goal of President & Owner Tim Tharpe for years. This bright red beauty really stands out among our fleet, and it was the perfect truck to celebrate 50 years in business. Here's to many more years of serving all of your hauling needs.

Kicking off today is our "Truck a Day" Month. We start with our Breast Cancer Awareness truck, which was one of the first themes we created to try and accommodate such a bright pink dump truck to the fleet. It was in October many years ago, so it was perfect timing for Breast Cancer Awareness. People loved the look of the truck and it was requested at many hospitals and community events in the area. We invited the ladies to sign the silver dump body and write whatever they'd like on it - in memory and in honor of survivors and fighters. This is definitely 1 of our All Time Favorites! 🎀
