Fosters Maple Ridge Products LLC
Fosters Maple Ridge Products is a commercial maple syrup operation in the woods of northern Wisconsin.
Keaton Foster is the owner and operator, a 13 year veteran of the maple syrup industry. When not making pure all natural maple syrup, Keaton attends Michigan State University where he is a senior majoring in Food Industry Management. Maple Ridge Products is a licensed and developing maple syrup business. Growing from a traditional bucket operation tapping 700 trees to an ultra modern, high vacuum
Things have been kind of quiet since the last batch of syrup was produced in late April. Almost all Wisconsin syrup was bulk sold in drums to a packer and exporter in New Hampshire. The Michigan syrup was packed by us for family and friend distribution. The seasons in both Wisconsin and Michigan were about average for production, mostly amber and dark amber syrup.
We have begun laying out and setting up tubing for an additional 3,500 taps in our Wisconsin sugarbush. Additionally, we are improving about 1.5 miles of gravel road to allow sugarbush access. Will report more as construction progresses over the summer months.
