The American College of Radiology Mammography Accreditation Program conducts peer review, constructive feedback on staff qualifications, equipment, quality control, quality assurance, image quality, and radiation dose as part of accreditation protocol. Every mammography machine must undergo ACR accreditation and this process occurs every three years at NMCP clinics and branch health clinics.
