40 acres of “good land”, a county Hospital, Pest house (for contagious diseases), Cemetery, Superintendent’s house, several small houses for the county poor, 2 barns, 3 hen houses, a tool shed, large pastures for livestock, a fruit orchard, 3 vegetable gardens, and a brand new poor house. All powered by a large windmill which sat on the property.
