Sunday evening while trying my best to get motivated to write after not touching my laptop in more than 10 days! I opened an email from NLPA National Landscape Photo Awards to see my submission made it to second round in Grand Scenic category. I didn’t WIN but I am overjoyed!

It has been a DAY. The Memorial was beautiful. Afterward I met a friend for lunch and then we dropped in at the crocker Museum for Raul Gonzo’s COLOR MADNESS. I 💗💗💗 the set just screaming for a Photo Op. I should have had that foot up, but I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY.

What an immense honor it is to have my work featured on this week’s /DRAWLIGHTS Substack by Peter Nitsch, a fellow talent and creator I’ve followed the past two years I’ve been rooted in the blockchain arts space. Thank you so much! I will be sharing far and wide.

I am amazed at times to think I am still here making pictures after so many tumultuous years growing in to BE’ing my Self, and to be HERE with so many talented creators and friends! I’ve been making work since 1995 and really only came into my own style with a solid body of work around 2012. If someone asks me why I need to take pictures I quote an old street shooter, “Why do you need to breathe?” 📸🌎💜
