Bathroom project. Personal record. Between the tiles, sills, Schluter trim places I installed 950 pieces in this bathroom. Came out super nice, but it was a ton of work !

Haven't posted anything in awhile, but I am going to start posting some of my older work, to keep a photo log mainly for myself. I rarely seek out construction stuff anymore, only do it per request.
Here is a roughly 14'x14' solid mahogany ceiling that I installed with 3 other guys. I was the cut man, Jason ( RIP ) was the guy nailing it up with the help of two young guys, Pat and Tommy who were there to hold the boards for him. The 4 of us made a good team. Helluva card room ceiling with Venetian Plaster both on the exposed part of the ceiling and on the walls. It was a tight !

It's been a couple of years since I did a complete kitchen remodel.
Here are some before and after pictures of that last one I did.

Rebuilt this pergola for a good friend of mine a couple of weeks ago. It collapsed 2 winters ago under the heavy wet show we had. I was able to use lot of the old lumber, but for the structural stuff I framed in new beams.
The old lumber was soaking up stain at an incredible rate, so my buddy ended up finishing the staining part after he got some more. Nice place to enjoy the garden !

Here is a cut I made into a 2x6 piece of redwood around a fence post. I have made hundreds of perfect cuts in the last 28 years of cutting wood, but this one is one of the few that I am super proud of. Talent and skill will take you 90% of the way, but the last 10 is usually just luck, lol. This one is just perfect !

Metal fabrication. I still like to make things out of metal and welding is always fun, so I have been keeping this old profession alive that I studied in high school for 4 years, but I limit it to TIG and MIG welding only at this point.

I rarely do pavers, but when asked, I don't mind. 3 big goes kept jumping up over the stone retaining wall constantly knocking down the rock, so the home owner asked me to build a paver ramp for them to eliminate the problem. Mission accomplished, no more rocks on the grass.

Well, this one is not remodeling related, but it was something I had never done before until I was asked to fabricate a new wheel well that was destroyed by an exploded tire on this little retro camper trailer, because the OEM product was no longer available. Relying on my metal fabricator background that I studied back in high school, and the 20+ years in the construction business, this sheet metal project wasn't all that complicated. Got it made, installed, sealed and got the little camper ready to go again. Fun !

Couldn't find any of the before pictures, but here are 16 photos of the putting the bathroom back together part. Let me know what you think ! Used to be a standard 5 foot tub originally. Framed it down to 4 feet and turned it into a shower, designed and built an open faced towel hutch in that 12 inch section, which is really useful as it's a guest bathroom. I love redesigning spaces to be more useful ! 👍😁🤙

Cody, Wyoming.
The red cabinets were given to the home owner by one of his friends. They were some high end fancy steel cabinets. He asked me to make base cabinets for the left side of the kitchen in that same industrial style like the red ones. He wanted the cabinets to be open faced for ease of access. Made the skinny cutting board cabinet, the sink base and an open faced utility cabinet that's on the left side. I love working with creative home owners ! He insisted on keeping the original vintage upper cabinets. It actually looks really cool in real life, where the old meets the new.
