June 19 is Juneteenth, a holiday in honor of the date when enslaved African Americans in Texas were freed...two years late. It's a reminder of their resilience and to our duty to the promise of our nation.
For now, we'll still be open on Juneteenth, and it's a Friday...and we all know how Fridays like to Friday. So we're still here for you if your kids need a visit before the weekend!

Y’all, I was worried about today. Busy day of juggling babies in the nursery, a busy clinic day, and trying to supervise my teenager working in the office (he’s quite skilled at making copies, but finds it debilitatingly boring and inadequately compensated).
And it was a great day. You know why? Because no matter how busy we are or scattered we feel, in the end, we’re still getting to spend the day hanging out with your kids. And your kids are the freaking best. Thanks for letting us be part of it. ❤️
Who doesn’t dream of going to Mexico for the first day of summer break? Alas, going to the *Mexico Room* at our office is probably not what Dr. Raman’s daughter had in mind.
Is she munching away on a cucumber? Yes. 🙌
Is she also still in pajamas and plugged into an iPad? Also yes. 😑

What a great day to go running with 300 of your best friends! We’re proud to support our local Girls on the Run, and love volunteering at their celebration 5k!
We highly recommend checking out the programs at local schools! And we just learned that GOTR has a middle school program called Heart and Soul, extending their incredible messaging for older girls!!

Check out this incredible event being put on to by Northern Nevada’s branch of Postpartum Support International. Perinatal mental health is so important, and having a supportive team can make a huge difference for parents (especially when you’re in the weeds in those hard first months).
We hope you’ll go check it out to help support and be supported by this great organization! Big thanks to one of our own Summit families for putting this on and letting us know about it!

We're excited to announce we're welcoming patients with Silver Summit Medicaid starting July 1!
With all the changes with Medicaid lately, we know there are lots of families who need an awesome pediatric team. If that's you, call us! If you have friends who are looking, give them our number!
