Last week, I had the opportunity to travel down to the Mizpah Hotel in Tonopah, NV. The maintenance team couldn’t get the heating water up to the fan coils, so they hired me to help troubleshoot the problem. After a couple hours of troubleshooting, I determined that the butterfly valve on the return line was broken and stuck closed. They pulled the valve the next day and verified that the bolt had broken, and the valve was completely closed 💨🔫. They then changed the valve and were able to get full heat everywhere in the building! 👍 Just in time for Thanksgiving!

🚀 I am pleased to announce that I have received my Professional Mechanical Engineering license in the State of Arizona. For all of my Arizona friends, please keep me in mind for any Mechanical Engineering needs you may have! 👍

I zipped 🚀over to Kirkwood Meadows yesterday to examine a boiler system. The customer had new boilers installed last summer, and the system worked HORRIBLY all winter. The customer was at their wits end, so they called me to help them out. I examined the system and found that the piping was incorrect amongst a myriad of other problems. I explained the problems to the customer, and I will be sending them a report next week to help guide the repairs. 👍👊 I will also be going back over to re-commission and properly setup the boilers and get everything working optimally! I am confident that the final result will be an efficient and sustainable system that saves the customer money 💰💰
