This is my favorite bible verse. I had a previous journal with this same verse, but it’s almost completely filled! 😯❤️

I love taking notes in it, whether it’s from watching sermons or doing bible studies.

This past weekend I struggled with something I shouldn’t have struggled with.

I know God has a plan for my life. I know what the Bible says.
So why was I trying to convince myself that I could live my life according to what I, or others, thought? 🤔

It’s simple: Listen to God. Follow his path for you. Read the Bible. It’s literally an instruction manuel that came straight from God.
His Word > the world.

Worshipping God through song is when I feel the most vulnerable, the most close to Him, and I often get emotional.

As of this morning, July 17, 2020, my degree was conferred.

I officially have my Masters in Education and Preliminary Teaching Credential 😭🎉🤗🤗

It’s been a long 18 months...heck, a long couple of years, to get where I am today. 💪🏼
People didn’t believe in me, they doubted me, they were negative nancies....but I didn’t give up. I’ve been going to school non-stop. No breaks, no year off, nothing. 🙅🏻‍♀️
I’ve changed my mind, changed majors, moved out of state, worked full time while doing a masters program...and I’m so damn happy to say that I’m finally done 😭👏🏼

I wish I would’ve been able to walk across a stage, but as long as I have my degree, I’m happy. ☺️

Thank you to the people who still encouraged me, supported me, and gave me sound advice that led me to this moment. I thank God for you 🙌🏼

Crossword puzzles, word searches, Boggle, oh my!
I’ve always loved games with words. 🤓
I remember filling out the Saturday and Sunday crossword puzzle from the newspaper with my supervisor at the casino during down time. We’d go back and forth, filling it in, until we had to cheat to get the last words 😂
I also liked to take a look after my grandparents filled out 80% of the puzzle 😂 I couldn’t add much, but I tried!

I have Endometriosis. 🦋

I was first diagnosed in 2012 when I had the first laparoscopy procedure. It’s been 8 years, and it came back. This time, it attached to the top of my bladder and my re**um.

If you watch my stories, you’ll hear what my doc said and what our concerns are for the future.

But for now, I’m ok, and recovering from surgery.

These three have been my go-to oils since my surgery on Friday.
Friday morning I had a robotic assisted laparoscopy. So these three have swooped in to help 🤓

🔹DiGize and Peppermint to help with bloating and easing the nausea.
🔹Helichrysum rubbed around my incisions. Not directly on them.

Thank goodness for natural oils to get me through this recovery 🤗

Just finished washing my dishes. Gotta clean those pots if I want to make another HelloFresh meal! 😅

A few weeks ago, I started using this awesome food delivery service. And I am in love! 😍

I love how the meals are delivered in recyclable packages, I love how all of the ingredients are provided (minus your basic salt, Keller, and olive oil), and I love how delicious everything is!

The meals are very easy to make, and the instructions are simple to follow. I’m so glad my brother recommended them to me. I haven’t cooked this much in months! 😅😅

Did you know?
As a kid, I used to model 😅🙈.
At the end of every season, I’d model the next season’s new clothes in the middle of the Inland Center Mall🍁 ❄️ ☀️ 🌸

I remember taking Etiquette classes through the city, and was approached by the teacher to see if I would be interested in modeling. She got me hooked up with the fashion show titled Santa Claus Inc., (which I also modeled in) as well as the one through Gottschalks. ( your aunt, right?) 😅

I remember having to be back stage with my mom and change in and out of clothes at lightening speed ⚡️

I even remember coming across FaceFinders, a modeling agency looking 👀 for new talent. I auditioned, made it past the first few rounds, was given an offer, but ended up turning it down.

So crazy can’t right?! 😂😱
