It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the tragic loss of one of Pennsylvania’s bravest, a Pennsylvania State Trooper from the Troop L barracks. 🕊️🖤💙
Please keep the Trooper’s family, loved ones, fellow law enforcement officers, and all responding emergency personnel in your thoughts and prayers during the difficult days and weeks ahead.

Let this be a vital reminder to everyone on the road:
MOVE OVER AND SLOW DOWN.

If you can’t move over, slow down.
It saves lives.

Today, our community is grappling with the loss of Central Berks Regional Police Officer Kristen Yeager, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty last evening.
The officer's family and the emergency services community are in my thoughts, and I recognize the dedication and commitment they demonstrate daily.
I wish to acknowledge the invaluable assistance provided by our regional Fire Police at the scene last night. With no hesitation, these volunteers are there in a heartbeat to assist with scene security and traffic control.
I myself was there to assist at the traffic circle in Oley twp.
In honor of Officer Yeager's sacrifice, Governor Josh Shapiro has ordered the U.S. and Pennsylvania flags to be flown at half staff on Commonwealth grounds.
Having worked with Officer Yeager and experienced her professionalism firsthand, I know she will be greatly missed.

Rest in peace..
