What are you doing with your BMW this weekend?

Season's greetings, fellow members. I am offering an early present for anyone interested.

I'm not burying the lead here. THESE TIRES AND WHEELS ARE FREE!!!

They're available because I no longer own the vehicle upon which they were mounted.

This full set of Bridgestone Blizzak snow tires (235/50/18) (formerly mounted on our F25 x3) is being offered free to a good home ... or a not-so-good home.

I don't care. They're tires, not puppies, so feel free to abuse them to your heart's content - smokey burnouts? Backyard tire swings? Really heavy games of ring toss? Hell yeah! Have at it!

As you can see, the tires have tons of tread life left and they are exceptional in lousy winter weather.

They come complete with a set of rims. Granted, the rims are in ... let's call it "seasoned," or "patina'd" condition. However, what they may lack in pristine, showroom shine, they more than make up for with functionality for crappy, pot-holed, salt-laden Delaware Valley roads.

Tomorrow will be the last dry day for a while, and an evening drive to grab some ice cream with your family, pets and Bimmer friends is an ideal use for your BMW!

We will be there from about 6:00 until close to hang out, eat ice cream and enjoy a warm (and dry!) summer evening!

Just show up hungry! There are tons of delicious flavors on the menu (including bacon👀)!!

Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is great fun, even if it is in Pittsburgh.

If you've never attended the event, consider the trip. There's enough to do there for an entire week, but you an also limit your visit to the weekend, see the vast array of cars, witness the vintage race as it whizzes past the BMW CCA seating/parking/eating area and enjoy lunch under a big white tent (which you'll appreciate when the afternoon sun is at its most intense and temps/humidity both in the mid-90s.)

Yes. There will be sweating, but there will also be camaraderie, the chance to display your favorite BMW and a terrific way to "get in your steps."

every marque worth displaying will be featured on the fields and the BMW CCA itself is focusing on the 3-series to celebrate its anniversary ... whichever one that happens to be.

This is a dinner event with cash bar, and will offer more a informal seating set-up to encourage meeting mingling and talking with as many of your fellow members as possible, while offering a delicious buffet style meal in an exceptional environment.

Das Fest will take place in the most amazing event venue in the Delaware Valley; “The Fuge” is the facility that was used to train all of the 1960’s and 1970’s era NASA Astronauts to prepare them for the high “g-loads” imposed by rocket-powered space travel. Every astronaut that went to the moon took a “ride” in the Fuge capsule (see photo above) - you will have a chance to sit in that very same seat if you would like (at 1g of course - we want you to keep your meal!).

The timing on this event has been adjusted to place it on the first Saturday of Spring, right after we roll the clocks ahead to make the daylight last longer in the evening. This means that we have evening daylight and comfortable temperatures - so we will encourage all to bring the “nice” BMW to this event and plan on a little parking lot socializing upon arrival.

We are working on providing a few special activities as part of this event to make this a memorable evening for all BMW enthusiasts!
