verry very far down
in a locomotive mine
stood a passerby in the
wasting hours of the
train station line

weighing heavily
she dropped a scoffing remark
leaving in the breeze
of the train leaving
and the saturation changed

maybe this is what he meant
when he said

i’ll never be of such a use
as serving my end
of this loving bargain

where do you seek change
is your heart there
in the craft paste

am i reaching up to a tangled vine
spinning in these circles intertwined
like dancing shadows on a cave wall

oooohhh
stuff is always changing

things change
what things remain
flowers in the garden
falling in the spring showers drifting
spirit glisten by ravens on a carcass
ant trails in lines for the flying feeders
to feast like rice until they’ve filled
bees stinging like rays flying off
to the sun with anger and happy fun from
flowers to the hive and so on death
and life are hand in hand and constantly
push and pull like the day and night that
punctuate our little world

ooooohhhhh
stuff is always changing

“Do Ducks Have Knees??” Is out now!

Breaking Sculptures have sculpted an album that embraces a somberer side of their post-rock journey. With crinkling, glitching guitar drones, floating synths, minimalistic drums, and walls of bass, Breaking Sculptures weave a melancholy, warm and textured blanket of nostalgia and comfort.
These 7 instrumental songs speak to an autumnal mood, of changing seasons, and of letters from old friends.
