The Randolph Fire Department is pleased to announce that, this morning, Probationary Firefighters Ricardo Calixte, Emmanuel Manoli, Peter McDonough, Michael Fahey, and Torri Pinto graduated from the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy's Fifty-Day Career Recruit Firefighter Training Program.

Graduation ceremonies for Class #339 were held at the T. Dustin Alward Stow Campus of the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy and commenced at 1100 hours.

These graduates have successfully completed the rigorous training program, which prepares firefighters with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to serve and protect their communities safely and effectively. Their accomplishment reflects months of dedication, hard work, and commitment to the fire service profession.

A special congratulations is extended to FFOP Peter McDonough, who was selected to receive the Richard N. Bangs Outstanding Recruit Award. This prestigious honor recognizes a recruit who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, dedication, professionalism, and commitment throughout the training program. Being selected from among his peers is a testament to Firefighter McDonough’s exemplary performance and character.

The Randolph Fire Department was also honored to be represented by FFOP Ricardo Calixte, who performed the National Anthem during today’s graduation ceremony. His outstanding rendition added a memorable and meaningful touch to the event and was a source of pride for both his classmates and the Randolph Fire Department.

The Randolph Fire Department congratulates Firefighters Calixte, Manoli, McDonough, Fahey, and Pinto on this significant achievement and welcomes them as they begin their careers serving the residents and visitors of Randolph. We wish them continued success and safety throughout their service to our community.

In recognition of World Autism Awareness Day, we take time this month to reflect on the strong relationships we've built with incredible community partners like Boston Higashi School and May Institute. Working alongside them each day reminds us how important compassion, understanding, and collaboration are in serving every member of our community.

We also want to personally thank the members of our department who go above and beyond-whether supporting these organizations professionally or navigating autism in their own families. Your dedication, patience, and empathy do not go unnoticed. You bring a level of care to this job that truly makes a difference.

This month, and every day, we stand committed to learning more, supporting one another, and continuing to build a safer, more inclusive community for all.
