Little Bitty Animal Sanctuary

Today we had a visit from our friends . Since shortly after the start of the Eaton fire in LA, we assisted Pasadena Humane by fostering or taking in animals displaced by the multiple fires. Our first fosters were four bantam roosters. Today we had to say goodbye as their owners were ready to take them home. As we said goodbye to the roosters, we welcomed a new pot bellied pig, Peppa. She will be with us until her owners have the opportunity to rebuild after the fire.

The weather has been wreaking havoc on the sanctuary lately - today a tree fell victim to the wind. All are safe and sad to see the tree go down 🌬️🍃

Meet our newest residents, Jellybean the sheep and Amy the highland cow. This bonded pair came to us after spending some time at and are now sharing a space here with ShuShu. They have become fast friends! Panda was rescued by the during the Eaton fire in LA and now spends her days here.

Today Wilbur had a vet visit at . He was neutered, vaccinated, and dewormed. Wilbur did well and is recovering in his pig pen at the sanctuary. Wilbur came to us after he was evacuated a during the LA fires and needed a safe place to land.
