Such an honor to have the opportunity to contribute to this critical Cancer study.

The Coon Rapids Police Department would like to thank 1-800-BOARDUP for the generous donation of labor and materials that will be used for wooden storage containers for our evidence storage. We are appreciative for the continued support from our community partnerships! Pictured is Captain John Stahnke, Tommy Cherep from 1-800-BOARDUP and Officer Steve Beberg.
We are very thankful that no serious injuries occurred in this incident. As the holder of the Mpls Commercial BOARDUP contract, we are ready for any challenge. Our team has the expertise, endurance, equipment and enthusiasm to perform the services no matter how challenging the task may be.

Cancer awareness within firefighters is a large campaign for us; using our partnerships with the Fire Cancer Support Network, Regions Hospital, Good Health Saunas and the St. Paul Fire Foundation, we work to find ways to reduce the number of affected firefighters. Please use this month to educate yourselves and to participate any way you can in supporting your local heroes.
January is Fire Fighter Cancer Awareness Month. Did you know cancer is the #1 cause of fire fighter LODD deaths?

Great things happen when you have amazing partners!! Thank you once again to 1-800-BOARDUP Twin Cities and 24RESTORE for another amazing donation!! For the 2nd year in a row, they have donated funds to buy a sauna for a SPFD fire station. You will be hearing a lot more about this in the months to come!! Thank you for your support - the foundation could not do this without people and businesses like yours!!

Today is the "Giving Back to the St. Paul Fire Department Fundraiser." The money donated will go towards department needs that the city budget does not cover. Many of these needs affect the firefighters directly, such as personal protective equipment, equipment for cleaning gear and apparatus, equipment for physical fitness endurance training and also studies on how to prevent firefighter cancer while on duty. Please donate today; every dollar counts and will be put towards the men and women who protect us daily. We appreciate your consideration - the link is below!

The Brooklyn Park fire department would like to thank the Brooklyn Park Fire Foundation and 1-800-BOARDUP Twin CitiesMN) for the donation of a Keiser Sled!
The Keiser Force Machine was originally designed for the Firefighter Combat Challenge® to simulate the chopping motion used in firefighting. This donation will help us to safely train, and test firefighters using the same kinetics and ergonomics as those used with an axe or a sledge hammer.
We are very excited to begin training on this equipment and we appreciate this donation!

This is a perfect example of why I love my job. There are services that fire department doesn’t have time to provide at a home fire, when the fire goes out the fire department needs to pick up and get back in service. I am able to assist people after the fire with emergency services, to take care of immediate needs and to start the process to get their life back on track.
This is from a fire that was a rental property with five young women as tennants. These young ladies had not much for personal belongings except the closets filled with clothing. Their situation was where they would not be covered for their belongings. We were able to gather all of their belongings and were able to salvage and clean 99% of the items. We did not charge for any services due to the situation the ladies were in. This is the true meaning of Serving Others and we are very thankful to have the opportunity..
