Shoutout to John B, Poppy's favorite driver!

"My name is Dr. Andrew C. Mills, and am a veterinary dermatologist. We have been a customer of Ace since 1990.
We have a Golden Doodle dog named “Poppy”, who is 13 years old, the friendliest, most expensive “free” dog we’ve ever had.
She has the uncanny ability to know when it is garbage pickup day, which is on Mondays for us. When we let her out in the mornings to do her duties, she will run down the driveway to the garbage can and sit by it, she is smarter than me, until I figured out that the driver, whom I think his name is John B. has left a dog treat or “cookie” as I call it, on the lid. She greatly enjoys these treats. I break it in half so it goes twice as far!
So please thank John for his kindness! She never goes down to the end of the driveway on any other days!

Christmas Day and New Year’s Day are on Saturday! Your pick-up is not delayed when holidays fall on a Saturday or Sunday.

All ACE customers will be serviced on their normal scheduled day!!

To ensure collection, please have your containers street side the night before or by 6:00 am on your collection day.

Oh hey - a reminder!
Minnesota bans disposing of trees in a landfill or a waste to energy facility. Christmas trees must be collected and delivered to a tree recycling facility requiring us to send a separate truck and driver.

To have your real Christmas tree collected and recycled you must contact us for pricing and payment prior to your collection day the weeks of January 3rd and January 10th. For the safety of our drivers, trees that are 10 feet and over must be cut in half. Tree stands, ornaments, decorations, lights and tree bags must be removed. Contact us via email at [email protected] or 763-427-3110 to schedule the collection of your real Christmas tree prior to your service day.

Never too young to begin our search for new drivers. We had this happen in Andover this week. "My son is always out waving at the drivers but today the driver took the time to ring the doorbell and ask if he wanted a picture next to the truck. It truly made our day. ACE Solid Waste - Service Delay This Week We will be observing the Memorial Day holiday on Monday May 31st. All ACE services will be delayed by one day the week of May 31st.

Safe collection of your waste and recycling is our first priority. Be sure to place your garbage cart no more than 5 feet from the curb, make sure the opening is facing the road, and the lid is completely closed. Giving our team clearance around the cart allows us to provide our customers with the best service!

Martin Luther King was an influential civil rights activist and a leader in the movement to end racial segregation in the United States. Dr. King was an advocate for non violent protests and became well known for his "I Have a Dream" address.
Martin Luther King Day was created in recognition of the day Dr. King was born and celebrated to honor his legacy.

We always love employee referrals, but this young lad is going to have to wait a few years to drive the big grey and red ACE truck. The smile on his face however is a good indication that we will hold a spot for him when he turns legal age to drive a Commercial Vehicle as he would be a great addition to the ACE team of professional drivers. Thanks to his mom for sharing her son's joy on Christmas day.

“I am elderly and had slipped and fell outside my home and my driver Chad stopped his truck and got out to help me up, made sure I was ok and then offered to help me get back inside my house. I just wanted to let you know how wonderful it is to still have people like Chad out there!”
