The Jamul custom home build continues to take shape. Every phase is an exciting step toward transforming this vision into a one-of-a-kind home.

Designed by Drew Hubbell Architects, this custom 4,305 sq ft residence is being built using the Perfect Block system and will feature an 890 sq ft detached garage along with nearly 900 sq ft of rear and rooftop deck space.

This pour included 60 yards of concrete, roughly around 120 tons, or 240,000 pounds 😱

Every role matters. From the pump operator and finishers to the form setters making sure layout, framing hardware, and structural details are exactly where they need to be. Precision at this stage sets the foundation for everything that follows. Huge thanks to RB&S Concrete and everyone on site.

All of that work is helping bring this vision to life. Designed by our partners at Hubbell and Hubbell Architects, this project will feature a 1,200 sq ft custom ADU with a one-bedroom, one-bath layout, built using The Perfect Block system for long-term durability and efficiency. The property will also include a 505 sq ft detached carport and three pergolas, creating additional functional outdoor space.

This project was a full transformation from start to finish. We opened up the kitchen and living space by removing walls, reworking the layout, bringing in more natural light, and rebuilding the space with intention every step of the way. From electrical and plumbing to lighting, cabinetry, and finishes, every detail was designed to work together and create a home that feels warm, functional, and inviting.

These final photos really capture what made this project special. Thoughtful details, natural lighting, and a space that completely changed the feel of the home without losing its comfort.

What makes it even more impressive is the timeline. From demo to completion, this entire remodel was completed in just 2 months and 1 week without cutting corners or sacrificing quality.
