Thanks to you, we were voted #1 Best Farmstand in Ramona in the Ramona Sentinel’s Best of Ramona awards! 🏆

From the beginning, Talking Oaks Ranch was more than a farm — it was a place where animals, people, and nature could thrive together in harmony. 🐓🌳💧 As a registered organic ranch, we’ve always believed in caring for ourselves and the earth through healthy, chemical-free food, natural products, and regenerative practices that restore balance to the land.

We hope our journey inspired others to live more gently, grow more mindfully, and care more deeply — for the animals, the soil, and each other.

Meet our newest family member, Opus.

This sweet boy is the complete opposite of Breezy, our other horse but they are becoming fast friends.

Opus is a former police horse that started out as a race horse.

He is still missing his dad and is adjusting to his new home. I couldn’t help posting the first photo of him showing his kind eyes and ears forward.

Looking forward to hitting the trails soon!

After much thought, we have made the difficult decision to close our monthly farmstand and online market. Several factors were considered, and while this chapter is coming to an end, we remain hopeful that things may change in the future. If so, we’ll be sure to let you know!

We are deeply grateful for the incredible support you’ve shown us over the past few years. 🙏❤️ Although this chapter is ending, we hope to attend local events as a vendor in the future. In the meantime, we know you will continue to support our amazing local small businesses that make this community so special.

🌞 Summer Reminder! 🌞

Our monthly organic farmstand is taking a break for the summer. But don’t worry, our Online Market is still open! 🛒

We have limited items available for local pickup, including:

🐔 Pasture-raised chicken eggs
🥚 Celadon quail eggs
💐 Lavender bunches
🧼 Artisan soap
✂️ Quail egg scissors
🌿 And more!

If some of the eggs have thin shells, this is because some of our hens are older and despite the high-quality feed and supplements, the shells aren't as strong as the young hens. We don't cull our birds because they're not "spring chickens". Our girls are here for life. ❤️🐓

I harvested some of our organic English Lavender this morning. 😍

The bundles will be dried and ready for sale in a couple weeks on our Online Market (link in bio).

Today is farmstand day!!!!

Sadly JD (our tractor) is unwell so we will have our items at the item pickup stand from 9am - 4pm today.

We have our organic chicken eggs in the cooler (lift the handle on the top of the stand), and our organic quail eggs (table, not fertile), soap, lotion, lavender, and more on the top of the stand.

We accept cash (box attached to back of stand) and Venmo for our honor system.
